So I will share my opinion as well.
Lets start with a quick comment to the every song, then I'll type my Top
5 10.
01. Main Theme ~The Fullmetal Alchemist~Very mysterious, dark waltz. I just love that sad chores at the end. And overall, that opera-ish/symphonic feel of the whole soundtrack, especially this and few other scores.
02. Laws of AlchemyOur "trailer" score xd Gives me pleasant chills (except thought we had to listen it at lots of beginnings of early episodes...). Gradually, music is getting more louder leaving one anxious. Love it.
03. again (TV Size) (YUI)I don't think I need to explain why I love this one. The best opening of FMA ever made.
04. Nightfall in Central CityI would say it's a very pathos piece. It gets more calm and warm around the middle. I think it would made a great Amestrian's Army Anthem.
05. Fire in the SkyAgain, a darker piece. Nothing really to expand there.
06. Clash of the AlchemistsAnother score of the firsts I heard. I guess it was in a trailer as well. Powerful piece, very "catchy", I would say. And Trademark of Brotherhood.
07. LurkingMade my hands bury in the chair/bed/anything I'm sitting on while listening to this. Mysterious.
08. MistCalm. But kinda sad and dangerous.
09. Spiral of TruthJaws theme! Make my eyes go wide and search for a shark's fin XD
10. Mortal SinGod, the part that starts at 0:23. Danger is coming, time to hide under a bed. o.o We also have chores here. One of my favorite pieces.
11. One is All, All is OneMelancholic, sad ballad. Reminds of the past.
12. Requiem for the Brigadier GeneralIf some songs are sad, this is a real tear jerker. Make me lay with eyes closed and think of various things...
13. Uso (TV Size) (SID)One of the best ending songs. Better than Let it out by visuals(d'aww that drawings), but losts by lyrics and voice of Fukuhara Miho.
14. Lullaby of ResemboolSymphonic version of Trisha's lullaby. I will describe it when I get to track no 21. I simply prefer the latter.
15. InterludeA lighter score at least. Make me relax.
16. Hologram (Tv Size) (NICO Touches the Walls)Catchy opening, meaningless lyrics. :f
17. Far East suiteBeautiful. Reminds me of old Disney's songs. Oriental.
18. Beneath the City...somone is spying on me...wah.
19. Fifth LaboratoryAnother favorite piece. Brilliant composition. I like the rising and descending notes. Make me all tense up.
20. Fanfare of the BraveAnother (in my opinion) Brotherhood's trademark song. Sharp strings, similiar to those in track no 01.
21. Trisha's lullabyHere're the lyrics in Latin:
Dormite liberi,
Dulci pueri dormite, caloris et,
Commodus Vester lecti boni.
Osservo te, semper te,
Latus tui costa te, autem solus, mitite,
Latus tui hic sum.
In somninum plati
Floridus plena, dormite liberi
Dulci mei dormite
Mitite liberi,
Sine pater autem, mitite, liberi,
Visi te tua mater.
Osservo te, semper te,
Latus tui costa te, liberi sine sentite,
Momentum dormite.
In conclave sine mater.
Conclave dum dies saperis......someone know Latin? I tried to translate and it's simply a lullaby directed to Ed and Al, there is something about their father as well.
Anyway, this piece is magnificent. It's so melancholic, sentimental. As the title shows us, this is a lullaby, an escape from real, cruel world.
22. Concerto ~Brotherhood~Hopeful. Tells us that "everything's not okay yet, there are still wounds to heal, but we're on right track".
23. Hum of the StreetsRustle and bustle...Song didn't fit into my tastes.
24. Beyond the WallsAnother melancholic score. Somewhat, not really noticable, another (just) good piece. Gets a lot better at the beginning (kinda reminds me of Morrowind game...)
25. Next ChapterJust don't like it. Too much is going on in this song.
26. Home ~en route to Resembool~So optimistic, it makes me all happy and mushy inside. I rock to this song every time I hear it. Tam tam tam...
27. Lapis PhilosophorumLapis philosophorum lapis ruber lapis quantus
sacrificium vis caputo felicitas
Debes sapio debes ibi multa miseria tua retro
calamitatis habes saputo felicitas
Ubi es inpedis terra e tem pus anteactus
sapies eo quam erant cadeveris infinitatis.
Debes sapio debes ibi multa miseria tua retro
calamitatis habes saputo felicitas
Ubi es inpedis terra e tem pus anteactus
sapies eo quam erant cadeveris infinitatis.
Specta mortuus specta si denuo desiderium
sapies habebis tueri sanguinem brachi pedis rubus,
Lapis philosophorum, lapis ruber affecto quam res...?Wow...
This bgm is alike as Trisha's Lullaby, but at the same time it's very different. Sang in Pathos style (and Latin language only adds fuel to it - everything in Latin looks smart xD), but the melody gives the song sad vibre. I think it's my most favorite piece.
28.Happiness ~Requiem from "Blind Alchemist"~Some frigging tear-jerking music Akira Senju gave us... I got the whole scale from little sad to fcking tear-jerks. This is around the end of it. The melody sounds like from a child's musical box. Which makes me baww few times more.
29. Home ~a house on the hill~Italian-restaurant one? Cannot decide if I like it or not.
30. Overture ~Brotherhood~Another FMA:B... It's pretty. Would like to see song like that at the end of the story.
31. LET IT OUT (TV Size) (Fukuhara Miho)
When I heard it first time, it seemed very generic to me. Now I love it.
