alrik ran to stop the man, but it was too late. the man had already killed himself. alrik swore loudly, and shouted in anger "why is it never simple!!!"

the fur clad warriors were winning in donners tower. donner and genny were the only two remaining, against around 7 assasins

genny shouted surprisingly loud for someone her size
"right, no one move, or i'll blow the whole tower to hell!"

the fur clad soldier looked at her for a moment, the fight seemingly ceasing. one, who seemed to be a commander of sorts, said, "she's bluffing, kill them all!"

the fur warriors cautiously reusmed thier attack. genny thought for a minute, then lit the dynamite on the fire, and ran towards donner. she tugged him towards the iron door at thier back, and ran out with him onto the central staircase, a dark shaft with stair winding far down to the ground.

she ran down, throwing the dynamite behind her, blowing the staircase above her, and stopping the warriors in thie rtracks

the ememies glared at each other across the new gap, and genny grinned slyly at her handywork.

then, both sides heard a cracking, and then the stairs began to crumble under thier feet. genny's smile faded fast, and she ran down the stairs, racing against the crumbling stairs. donner morphed into a bat, as he often di, and flew around the shaft safely

at kari's house, fur clad assassins were poised to attack, they smashed down the door and charged inside

howitzer said to tzar owen as he left "i think it's time i paid a visit to our old friends" he walked around the track from the cave, and came to a cliff edge, where a small zeppelin was anchored. a few men saluted as he entered his zeppelin "cast off. we fly to stark."

he pulled histrench coat around his body tightly. the mountain air was too cold for him.

messerschmidt laughed to hide his fear

*this mean knows too much* he thought *he knows about my home*

"i..uh..i don't know any other continent, you've got the wrong guy" he said nervously

at this moment, a man burst into the bar, brandishing a scroll of some kind. he wore the clothes of a dignitary of the state

he declared in a regal voice "the king has summoned final council, to pass his last wishes before his sad death" this was met by some gasps, but more unsurprised nods "all provincial leaders are coming, and his majesty requests that master ganjoube present"

Kari had been in the middle of putting her son to bed for a nap and she came down stairs letting out some of her chi and she snarled at the fur clad warriors taking off her apron now in a t-shirt and pants

"What do we have here?Try to make it quite please since my boy upstairs is sleeping."

Kaido looked at Kahram

"That was a bit harsh, Kahram... but we've got to go now..."

Tori nodded

"Back to the tower"

Master Ganjou was curious

"The King was dead, I was his advisor... oh well... if you would like a place to stay Winchester where you won't be bothered, then go to my place on the top of the mountain, you'll meet my apprentice, he's not from the other continent..."

Ganjou left.

"Not only do I do weaponry, but I could make your troops faster and provide you with some...." said Panzer, he started to summon a demon, a little grey metallic one.

"These are my... minions for now..."

The Sultan was amazed... when suddenly his messenger came in.

"Sultan the King is dead! You are requested at the council"

"Ah, excellent... I would like you to come with me Panzer,"

"Glad to..."

Tsar Owen was walking through the night, when he saw a horse in the distance? Could this be one of the heroes... he appeared in front of the horse.

"Greetings, you seem on a hurry?"

"The truth is always harsh"

Kahram said, throwing a rather nihilistic comment about what had come to pass, but gazed around, then at Alrik.

"If you are going then I`d like to go too, you and your friends made me curious, but if there is fighting ahead I could really use another blade in order to fight more effectively."

He beckoned, wondering what was going on, how on earth had he of all people manage to get mixed in it and how much fun it might turn out to be.

xavier saw a man appear before him. he yanked the reigns back, but too late. his horse plowed straight into the man. xavier hurriedly dismounted to see if he had hurt the man, but was shocked to see the man still standing where he was, as if the horse had gone right through him. suspicious, xavier said cautiously "is there something you want?"

the fur clad men drew thier swords and looked at kari menacingly

messerschmidt waved goodbye nervously. then, not really knwoing why, he followed ganjou outside. seeing ganjou move towards a palace in the plain below the mountain they were on, messerschmidt followed, silently.

*why am i following him to the kings deathbed?* he asked himself *it's not like i'll get in, if i wanted to. do i?* he really didn't know what he was doing, but did it anyway

he followed ganjou for a few miles until they reached the palace. ganjou went inside, leaving messerschmidt left like a lost dog in the palace grounds.

pondering his next move, his eyes drifted onto a large row of flags on the palace roof. he assumed they were the coats of arms for the provinces, though he didn't really know for sure. his eyes scanned one to the other, but his eyes locked on one. it pictured an elegant yellow bird gliding across a sky blue background.

it looked remarkably like the flag of baronia

lost in thought, he was shocked to hear a man beside him say "eh, buddy? you going to the ceremony, or do i have to throw you out. who are you?"

thinking fast, he said "i'm one of master ganjou's students, i've come as his bodyguard" he hoped his ploy worked

the guard asked suspiciously "any ID buddy?"

messerschmidt slapped him across the face "i'm master ganjou's servant. i need no ID, peasant!" he guard, shocked, hasitly opened the doors. messerschmidt advanced into the interior palace, amazed he had actually got in.

genny ran as fast as her legs would alow, but the stair were falling at a much faster rate. it became too much, and she fell off the side...

...and landed on the cold floor a few feet below. she sighed, she'd obviously got further down than she thought. she pulled herself to her feet, and ran to the door, followed by donner as a bat.

alrik said "tower, whatever! i just wanna know who the hell wreaked my house!"

Kari silently thanked Bayonet for the rose he had given her a year ago since it still lived and she had it in her hair currently,and she took out a kunai knife that was in her pack that she always wore.

Tsar Owen turned around

"I am fine... I was just wondering what was your hurry?"

"You're fast on your toes, aren't you lad?"

Master Ganjou entered into the King's room...

"Are you alright old friend?"

Emem started walking towards the glow, feeling a wierd energy around it...

Kaido started walking along, Airashii next to him... Tori looked at Kahram

"You must be suprised... we are the people who got rid of the 13 lords, who brought peace back once more."

Panzer entered the palace in a new suit, one that he designed obviously, it looked a bit like a tuxedo... he stood there, acting as the Sultan's new bodyguard.

The Sultan entered the palace and then the King's room... to find him alive... this made him furious, but he hid it well.

"Oh, thank goodness, you still live!"

"Right... and I am the... well never mind"

Kahram began, but stopped as he had thought of making a joke about his true nature however deciding against it at the very last moment. It would not be healthy to invoke the wrath of these people, self-righteous bunch as they were, oh what fairy tales they must be living in. Within the walls of the asylum he had heard of what had come to pass, but never regarded politics as a matter of significance. No in the loony bin, only the mind was thing of concern, basic nutrition`s and needs had to be satisfied of course, but politics was laughable as it was.

Only the mind had been of any concern to anyone within, that place and it was in the end, the minds of various people that eventually decided the outcome even in politics.

"I´ll go with you anyway, heroes or not."

He said, brushing past Alrik and after the others with sword in hand, albeit he grabbed a fitting scabbard for it from the dead fur-clad soldier before placing the whole hanging on his belt.

the king lay on a large bed, his wife and children at his side. several younger children were weeping. around the rest of the bed were various earls, barons, senators, and other dignitaries from all corners of the continent. messerschmidt followed ganjou into the room, and his eyes immidiately locked onto the sultans bodyguard. a face he knew well, and the metal arm was unmistakeable.

he knew there was no point hiding from his former employer. he simply glared at panzer, putting on his best "i have no interest" look

however, this was interrupted when another dignitary arrived, someone he was also very shocked to see. he now realised why the baronian flag had been flying...


the dignitaries said to one another "lady spitfire has arrived" she was clearly one of the more powerful leaders.

messerschmdit stared open mouthed

*lancaster's wife?*

xavier was immidiately suspicious of the mans calm tone. he said "look sir, i am in a hurry and i really don't have time to talk to strangers. you want directions, follow the lights. you'll reach a camp soon enough"

he turned towards his horse dismissively

the fur cald assassins got into attack positions, ready to launch themselves at kari.

alrik said to kahram "don't mind tori, he does love to brag" he then pulled a large shining broadsword from a sheath on his back "oh, i got this, but, i've got a couple of guns, so you can have it if you want kahram"

mauser pressed a large pad on his desk, and said into the reciever "lord panzer, please can i see this king? it might be handy later"

howitzers zeppelin soared the skies above the world, although howitzer, a frequent flyer, was no longer in awe of this, and merely sat reading a book in the onboard library.

"Bring it on!"

Kari said smirking,she hadn't gotten a good fight in over a year now.

Kahram looked at Alrik as, if struck square in the face by a hammer, but corrected his face into a friendly and complimenting smile whilst tapping the handle of the sword with his fingers.

"Noisy things, I prefer melee"

He noted and stopped to stare at a collection of steel rods, obviously used in some sort of machines and construction, with all the junk lying around these were no wonder. They were about the length of a long swords blade, round and one had a sharp head. Karham instinctively grabbed it and waved it around a bit as a test, he would have to do with this until he found proper tools albeit he felt that this improvised weapon might be actually quite handy.

"You seem troubled... troubled... something is at camp..." said Tsar Owen, guessing.

"You recognise that man in the wierd clothing"

Panzer didn't noticed Messerschmit but he did notice Lady Lancaster!

"Who is she?" he said making sure he knew who it was...

The sultan looked at Panzer "Lady Lancaster, don't know where she came from..."

Emem found the glow, he was about to touch it, when it suddenly, it suddenly flashed!

Emem was blinded for a short amount of time, but there it was in the air... he went to grab it.

as lady lancaster walked to the bed, the king muttered "lady samantha spitfire lancaster, its been to long"

she bowed low, and said "forgive me, i've been busy with foreign policy" she glared at another man in the corner menacingly. she then moved to look at panzer, and smiled back at him casually, seemingly unshocked.

xavier ignored the man and continued to his horse. he had no time for lost fools

alrik shrugged and put his weapon away.

"Rusty, that`s what I am."

Kahram admitted, albeit no one except for himself might have realized what he was talking about, well in the least these people weren`t crying about killing people as they saw the cold hard reality, lives had to be taken, if one wanted to survive in a cruel world such as this.

"Shall we get going?"

He said crackling his fingers.

Kari sighed and started fighting back with them,on par with them with only a knife as she started slashing through them.

alrik said "yeah, we've gotta move. kari's probably under attack already"

spitfires gaze reached the open mothed messerschmidt. he quickly closed his mouth, and she passed by him

Panzer looked at Lady Lancaster

"I thought you were dead..." he said grinning, bowing down and kissing her hand.

The Sultan was suprised

"You know this woman?"

Ganjou was surprised as well...

"You do know this person, tell me, who is that person, he seems strangely familiar..."

Tori was now in the tower, trying to find the opening...

"I'm not too sure where it is..."

Tsar Owen was annoyed

"I thought I could direct you to a great treasure which would change this corrupt world, but you're not interested..."

xavier laughed "look, old man, go to the camp, get some rest. you sound like you need it" he got to his horse

spitfire accepted panzer, and said "master garrand, fancy seeing you here. i see you're the sultans bodyguard now" she was clearly a very fast thinker.

alrik rested his arm on the wall, saying "you really should mark it clearer"

Tsar Owen scowled

"You will suffer later!"

And with a puff of smoke he was gone, he was now in back where he started...

"Those heroes might be easier..."

The wall turned around, ALrik was on the other side of the wall.

"Well done, Alrik... you found it..."

Panzer smiled

"Yes... my current situation is bodyguard... I have to say, I thought you were... dead..." he said slightly nervously, however this was false, Panzer was no gentleman...

Ganjou went up to the King.

"Tell me, you requested me here, what for, and it shall be done quickly, I do not trust some of these people."

Tsar Owen sat down, and had a thought...

"Why walk when I can use my thoughts... my spirit.

"So where does this one lead, to this Kari I might assume? And no I am not familiar with you people nor your names, I have not been around here all that long to know these things and besides I am not interested in politics."

He stated somewhat bluntly yet honestly.

alrik, shocked by this, said "of course i did, i knew where it was all along. now come one guys!"

spitfire gracefully followed panzer to the kings bedside. now, ganjou, spitfire, panzer, the sultan, and messerschmidt were all peering over the king.

the king began "i leave my throne to my eldest son, khamel" a man beside the king nodded acceptingly

"but i know...war is coming terror from a far off land..." the king seemed possessed "the boy with the scar! the sharp teeth!" he began to thrash around violently "the immaterial come! metal hands!" he thrashed more "stop the hands! all of them! the cage of stone! build a cage of stone to house the demon!"

he fell back onto his bed "the glowing stone..."

the group bowed thier heads. khamel, now king, said "does anyone know what my father menas?"

"Well, Alrik, you are the most straightfoward and concise, can you explain?" said Kaido, pushing the wall, so that he was now on the otherside.

Airashii laughed at this comic scene.

Panzer hid his hands under his tuxedo... this vision could cause problems... the Sultan was annoyed by this Khamel...

"All hail... Khamel..." said the Sultan, finding it hard to resist releasing his anger.

Ganjou was horrified

"The King is correct... I remember!!!"

His small hands grabbed Messerschmit and dragged him out of the palace!

Age: ???? Unknown in age. Once thought to be a demon. Though, when he lost the other side of him, Solomon.
He seemed lost. And eventually vanished. (And know known to have lost his memory. Unbeknown-st to the other characters.)

Personality: At the start of the series, he was quiet and more of the solo kind of role of the group. After his time with being with Kari. He seemed to open up, even eventually sacrificing himself for the better of the group.
He felt attached to Kari, in many ways. And she was his supposed reason for his existence. Which might be why he is still wandering the earth, after his near death encounter.

Bit more: He and Solomon, are now two separate beings.
And his body, after surviving. Had to take up for his other half's lack. In which case, he lost all his memory. And most of his abilities changed. He is now wondering aimlessly around. Trying to find why he feels what he does.



Name: Bayonet

Age: Don't ask, he is way old. And due to his powers, only seems young.

Personality: For the fact he is the leader of the vampire race, and is a day walker. He is actually quite nice. After Takai seemingly died. And Kari was left without closure. The vampire and Kari are now together. And taking care of Kazuma, Takai's child with her.


Bit more: Even if he is a supposed Vampire. And he is quite nice. Bayonet is actually easily upseted by the myths about his race. And how the myth that his kind can be killed by a lump of wood to the heart is the most popular. He feels that his kind is widely misunderstood. And he will prove their true power one day.




Name: Kazuma

Age: Around 1

Personality: About like a babies would be.

Bit more: He is only one, and is already seeming to show signs of power.


- Look at the baby, that is their baby. Just go with it. Lol.

Name: Solomon

Age: (Same as Takai. Though, without the memory loss. He is at this time, thought to be dead. So, he is out of their minds and out of sight.)

Personality: Solomon, is evil to the letter. He is sadistic, even out of battle. He would kill men, and even women and children, if it need be. He told no difference in between. He hid behind the face of a finely educated man, in a suit. Which actually misled many.

Bit more: He is thought to be dead, (We might bring him back.) Though, if we do bring him back. His powers and such, will change due to the lack of Takai.

The young child, where ever it may be at the time, would begin to cry. Sensing the things going on, with no problem. It may be a simple child, or supposedly. However, it was still the child of Takai and Kari.

Suddenly, out of the ground a rather large rose like appendage would spout and bloom, at curious.
It would spawn the male known as, Bayonet. Whom came at a whim due to his worry of his wife.
The male, left the rose appendage behind him. After stepping out of it, into the area.
And as soon as he did so, the rose passage bursted into dozens of smaller petals. For either decoration, or use if need be.

messerschmidt protested at being dragged out, and in his annoyance lashed out with his other hand, revealing to ganjou for the first time that his right hand was replaced by a cruel looking hook. calming down, he said "look, ganjou, what do you want?"

spitfire hailed khamel, and then said to him "lord, is there any way you could control the power of giais maior? they're advancing onto my land. i've had to station the army on the thuka riverbank in case of a naval attack"

alrik said "oh, um..ok...well, you see....." he questioned himself for the right phrasing "were like...freedom fighters i guess. we kinda beat up a bunch of corrupt governors and..." he coughed "...saved the world from an apocalypse. but we're all legit now, i was just settling down for a quiet life whe those furballs showed up, damn them!"

he then said to kaido "and as soon as we knock off this furry leader dude, i'm going back home. i'm in no mood for a holiday"

"Bayonet.....Kun."

Kari mumbled her eyes widening as she stepped back some so she wouldn't fall into the ground which would only make her more bothersome she had some blood splattered on her face,not hers,and there was a couple dead fur clad men around but plenty still living and she had a nice gash on her arm but other than that she was fine.

Karham chuckled at the brief tale and saw how it was a bit like his own, except for that he was a murderer, who went on a spree and produced 9 slashed bodies or well that was the official record. In a corrupt world the word official stank of scam.

"Hmh, well I can relate to your hardships"

He said comfortingly as he knew Alrik was not enthusiastic about all of this.

"Oh dear... hmm... I will have to take a chance... look, I believe that is Panzer, and you are Messerschmit! I helped make the original lords, yes I know I am ancient, but that is not the point... the King is correct, something bad is happening... I must get back!" said Ganjou, moving along slowly with his staff.

Panzer saw a chance here...

"Perhaps I could be of service,"

The Sultan gasped

"You were meant to be helping me?"

"Yes, I will do this to make your country more popular of course..."

Tsar Owen was bored of searching for the heroes by spirit, he wanted all of them to see him.

The male known as, Bayonet. Shifted his form to, Kari. With a quickness. He wrapped his arms around her, not caring as to if she was in fact covered in blood. He leaned up to her, and let his weight support her.
He looked up, attempting to look out for if there was any more people around them. That need be taken care of. He let out a small gasp, as he felt a looming threat on it's way.

Takai, stepped onto a rather tall rock about a mile away from the group itself.
His form would simply be gazing toward them, even if he was such a far distance away.
He leaned his free arm, to the hilt of his Sake bottle.
He could see them perfectly, even at this far away.
The wind changed, pointing to him. To keep them from having his sent.
He also felt a looming force, though, could not tell what it was.

Kari was in the middle of complaining to her 'slightly' over protective husband about how she was fine and it was just a scratch,when she felt the force as well and she said trying to squirm out of his grip

"I need to get Kazuma!I'll be fine!"

alrik led the group down the tunnel. it seemed a rediculously long way to kari and bayonet's house, and endless stretches of dark tunnels were hardly a spurrring view.

at the house of kari and bayonet, several fur assassins were still there. they began to attack again, after the shock of bayonets arrival. however, donner and genny appeared from a side door, and donner began helping kair and bayonet

howitzer's zeppelin glided smoothly towards stark tower. he allowed several men dressed in long black trench coats, the elite enforcers, to guide him through the palace. he remembered it well from his own time as starks ruler.

messerschmidt looked at ganjou "you must be really ancient man!" then, lsitening to what he said, he said "um..how do we get back? i got here by accident, i still don't know how i did it!"

xavier rode still more. the sun appeared to be rising on the horison. he wondered is he was still in jarl, or if he had passed into baronia yet.

a man entered mausers office. "sir" he began "the trackers have gone berserk. he's appeared again sir. we've tracked lord bayonet"

mauser stiffened "good old bayonet eh? i've been wondering when he'd show up"

turning to panzer, she said "oh, garrand, how gracious of you! let us speak together in a side room" she walked gracefully towards a door, and waiter for panzer to follow

Bayonet, let go of his wife. As he was so shocked by the vision. His motor functions went numb. He was able to hear Kazuma's cries. But, they seemed so far away. He felt limp.

Kazuma, felt the happenings of the area. And was crying really bad.

Kari raced up the stairs and picked up her baby gently and held him close humming softly to him knowing he could feel whatever was coming as she ran her fingers through his hair rocking him motherly like as she started walking down half way down the stairs to get Bayonet and get out of there.

alrik raced down the tunnels fast, the others in tow. he knew they had to reach the house before anything bad happened. and he needed to catch an assassin and find out who had staged these attacks

genny ran after kari, getting away from the fight

donner meanwhile got his stake ready to defend. he saw bayonet go limp, and stood in front of him to protect his frind whilst he recovered

howitzer marched along a red carpet toward a throne, where a man dressed in black robes sat. though the enforcers bowed, howitzer didn' tbother. he merely said "runton, i take it you remember you old master?"

Kari saw Genny and smiled gently and asked softly as she stopped mid way down the stairs not to get in the fight with a child in her arms

"Just like the old days eh Genny?Cept this little one was busy playing soccer in my stomach."

Kaido came out of the opening, with his chi energy ready and he smashed the table above him.

"Come out assassins!"

He found the place safe...

"Kaido!!" shouted Tori and Airashii

Ganjou moved along

"Yes you see, I was there when the Lord's faced off the evil person known as Par Gwen or something like that, and so I helped them to defeat him, by making a key inside of a key, but then the lord's went into power and I disliked them so I left, and went through the underworld to this land... once here! I tried to hide from it all... but something very bad is about to happen."

Panzer followed Lady Spitfire

"Yes, it's been a long time, what have you brought me here for?"

Tsar Owen's spirit moved to Takai and slowly started to drill inside of his head.

"Eh?"

Kahram uttered as he plucked his head out of the tunnel`s shadows as the room they were in was not apparently in danger as Kaido presumed. Karham grinned slightly at the embarrassing display of apparent anger, that Kaido had just let out.

"You really like to be theatrical, don`t you?"

Kahram asked, not expecting an answer to the obvious statement. However the sounds coming from the other room told another tale and Karham was the first to rush out of the room, right into the midst of the fight. Without a moments hesitation he launched the iron spike, in his left hand, trough the air like a javelin, that pierced the back of an assassin.

Apparently this sudden appearance caught some of the people`s attention as Karham smiled awkwardly.

"Welcome?"

He asked, chuckling between his teeth.

alrik came after kahram, a minigun blazing into the assassins. donner was guarding the door of the next room with bayonet. with these new arrivals, the assassins were venly matched, but stood little chance against the combined might of thier targets


genny smiled back at kari "yes, you're right"

howitzer walked up to runton, and said "i have a certain preposal for you" (someone else be runton, ive got enough characters as is)

messerschmidt shugged "i dunno how i got here really. got a ship up from rhudor, got caught in a massive storm, ended up here three weeks later"

xavier now rode into the morning sun, he'd been riding all night. he just had to stop these assassinations, they were a disgrace to his people. he'd managed to catch sight of thier targets in the officers tent, so was now headed to baronia where the nearest one was.

spitfire smiled gently at panzer as she shut the door. then she turned on him angrily, glaring with rage. she shouted, her educated accent gone "PANZER!!! what the hell are you doin' in my land!" and then screamed "''how'd you get here?! i thought the way was fully shut!"

calming down, she thn said "you lords have to spoil everything!"

Takai, not remembering anything about his past or anything at all.
His body posed no objection to the soul's infiltration to his inner workings.
Though, the spirit seemed to oddly be instantly directed to the arm were Solomon used to be. And the soul/spirit was sealed there.
[Sort of like the similar seal to Sounga in the Inu-Yasha manner, if you really want a example.]
And after that, a surge of energy was sent out. So light in dexterity, that few people would even feel it.

Kazuma, felt the warm arms of his mother, and began to slowly suttle down.

many of the assassins faultered, seeing the mass of warriors gathered to face them. the two groups stood facing one another for a moment, before one of the assassins lost is nerve and ran for the door. the rest soon followed in a rout.

however, they were stopped by an imposing figure at the doorway. they all knew him, but could do little in the way of explaination before xavier drugenov slashed at them with his spear in rage...

Kari said to her little son rocking him slowly

Kazuma, faulted. And then calmed down. Still sensing what was going on.
Though, he had a primordial urge to listen to his mother.

As though, to make up for the lack of having Solomon there.
It caused him some pain, which oddly enough his only remark was a slight grunt, and a small smirk.
As the soul settled within the arm, odd bandages formed around it. And writing as well. It seemed to form, to keep the 'thing' inside at bay.
Or more so, then Takai himself could.

the last of the assassins fled, but xavier had captured one, pinning him to the wall with his spear. several more were uncontious on the floor.

alrik shouted "come on, lets find out who these guys are working for!"

donner, standing to one side, felt a strange sensation, as if some powerful spirit was nearby, searching, but he dismissed it

messerschmdit followed ganjou "so, um..what are we gonna do. there's not a problem is there? i mean, the king's dead, but what's the worry?"

Karham grabbed the spike sticking out of a dead assassins back and wiped it`s tip clean onto the fur clothes of another unfortunate invader. Quietly he gazed around, knowing to be standing in the midst of people, who might simply love to send him back to whence he came should they know of his true nature. He doubted, that people in these parts knew of him thus he had been bold enough to present his real, first name, leaving out the last just in case.

He pranced to Xavier, who was currently occupied pinning an assassin against the wall, albeit in a bit different fashion than Karham had done to a poor attacker before by nailing him to the floor with a spear. Karham arrived to his right side and glanced at the assassin.

"Can I make him squeal, if he refuses to be intimidated by conventional methods? Oh you must be wandering, who I am. Karham, a friend of Alrik`s, pleased to meet you."

He inquired with a cheerful and friendly tone as, if pleased from the prospect being able to interrogate someone and apply violent methods upon them. Quite in fact he was and being with these `heroes` only worked to his advantage, they were his alibi, he could taste blood without being discriminated one bit.

It was a necessity after all.

"That's my boy,I'm gonna give you to Aunt Genny so I can go get Daddy."

Kari mumbled to her son giving him to Genny before flash stepping over to Bayonet shaking him gently saying softly but firmly

"Bayonet-kun,now's not the best time to be spacing out and limp."

genny took kazuma and held him gently

meanwhile xavier remained silently pinning the man against the wall.

alrik said to kahram "uh..kahram...we don't know this guy either."

xavier didn't move, but said "my name is xavier drugenov. these men betrayed me, and i'm here to find out why"

with brutal force, he grabbed his prisoner and held him towards kahram, shouting sternly "you are gonna tell me right now who ordered this attack or i'm gonna let kahram here do what he wants to you!"

the man was terrified, and began muttering "d..don't hurt me, please! it was a guy called mauser! he was the one who gave us money to kill these guys!"

xavier shouted again, throwing the man to kahram "why?!"

the man blurted out "i don't know! i don't know! he said he was working for someone! he didn't say who!"

Staring silently at Alrik Kahram flashed an embarrassed smile and laughed a bit about it, tapping Xavier on the shoulder as an apology. However he had little time to react

Karham grabbed the man and held him at bay by calmly placing his sword on the man`s throat, even drawing a small inch of blood from his neck, but leaving it only as a scratch. Meanwhile the metal spike in his other hand pressed right against the man`s spine, if he did not kill the man he could incapacitate him for the rest of his life. Oh wouldn`t that be fun? However as the man delivered his confession and cold smirk, like that of an awakened wild beast, rose on Karham`s face.

Flashes of bloodshed, countless wounds and his own blades went trough his mind in a snap second, a madness glared in his eyes. The name Mauser ringed a bell, no wonder, his targets had been smugglers and their henchmen, also subsequently their families albeit innocent they had been the first to be torn asunder by his wrath, that the smugglers had incurred. An eye for an eye as it were.

"Hmh... Mauser? Why... this may sound inconceivably convenient, but I happened to know of a smuggler by that name.... never met the man, but let`s just say I and his colleagues did not have exactly the most friendly relations.... Hmh, I say we pay him a visit... and see who this politician friend of his is..."

Kahram suggested, also expressing his opinion, that someone powerful no doubt was involved considering the fact, that someone had dared to oppose this group. Yet Kahram knew, that he was treading on dangerous waters, someone they would meet was bound to know of him so he would have to avoid talking as much as about as possible.

Panzer looked at Spitfire and smiled

"Surely you do not think I am here in bad taste, Lady Spitfire?"

"We need to find a way back to the old land, to warn them of the coming of evil, of Par Gwen, if that was his name, was it Dar Pwen, no, a more hissy sounds... Tsar Ben... Nevermind!"

He grabbed Messerschmit and tried to bring him out, the guards halted him.

"Get out of the way!!!"

He quickly whispered to Messerschmit,

"Just do as I do..."

"Why are you leaving so soon! The King's funeral and the coronation of the heir..." the guard was interrupted by a moaning.

Ganjou was on the floor

"Ooh, my heart!! Student, my heart!!" he gasped.

the man stuttered, finding it hard to speak with a blade on his neck "j...jerata. he's got a base on the jerata coat, the city of amanara"

alrik turned to the others "so, this mauser type wants us dead. i say we go, give im what for, and then we can come home"

mauser stood up, and gazed out of his window. his office wa at the top of a large steep hill leading to the sea on which the town of amanara was built. there were lots of houses joined by walkways, spiraling down to the sea port. there were many cliffs around the town true.

he knew the cliffs well *perfect place to "lose" a client*

spitfire looked angry again, but no longer at panzer "argh! they did what? who were they! why? who's left!" she blurted out lots of questions uncontrollably
