o___o That is one strange dream. I think you're spending too much time in this forum. xD

You think?

Oh, just to get it out before anyone asks, no he didn't marry me. He married my aunt. Dunno which one, cause I got loads of 'em and I honestly can't remember all of their faces... why am I even talking about that? I need some sleep...
Ailuro
Nov 25 2004, 04:58 PM
Your aunt? Wow. o.o
Omakase Shimasu
Nov 25 2004, 05:06 PM
Yeah. But there's one good explanation for this dream actually (plans to sleep have apparently flown out thewindow) because I remember eating this delicious fruitcake with raisins in it before going to bed. And food always gives me whacky dreams. Turns out, food coupled with my thoughts about missing the forum due to the flu made me have dreams about...
bryantq marrying my aunt. o.o
So... with this twisted explanation I'm actually meaning to say that due to the lack of my visiting the forum these past days....
Booger, I'm going to bed now. And I'm not going down to grab me another one of those delicious fruitcake slices either.
Bah, who am I kidding. I don't mind dreaming about forum members. As long as I don't marry them myself, right?

Nov 25 2004, 06:31 PM
Miss Kase, actually dreams could also sometimes represent someone other than your dream.
For example you dream of bryantq is going to marry your aunt. In reality it maybe means someone your are close to is going to marry one of your family members sooner later. Or maybe if you heard of superstitious, they could also symbolize other than that point I'm talking about.
Omakase Shimasu
Nov 25 2004, 07:22 PM
Really... O.o OK, now I'll have to keep an eye out for wedding invitations. I know one of my aunts on my father's side is still single...
Lady are you skilled in dream-reading?

Like someone being able to read someone's palm?
Lady Battousai
Nov 25 2004, 09:34 PM
errr...not really but I can read people's palm a little. It's all based on a book my brother gave me. It's a beginers level.
I must at least know some of this things since 'fengshui' runs in the family. But based on the book it's all about astrology both western and eastern. Makes me go whacko reading it...*goes whacko* Our family must possess the least of this knowledge. My father is already a master...holy crap...it's so hard up.

I had a 4-in-1 dream O.o you know, 4 different
dream topics in one?
First I were on a museum with my parents, there was some strange teddies made by a lady who was good at making special teddy noses

(I think it was in Copenhagen or Germany XP) the lady was especially known for her tiger/cat/lion teddy noses. Suddenly I was in jail, not an ordinary jail though, it was a container, I was all alone in the dark container and first it seemed like the door couldn't be opened, but somehow I knew how to squeeze me out (:3) there was also a fat man outside who should make sure I didn't run away. I tried many times to run away but I always got catch, well not really cause I suddenly just laid me down on the ground and then a little after I was back in the container. The container actually changed appearance, suddenly there was beds and toilets (

) I remeber there came a guy into the container, I just don't remember anything else about him, except from that he looked like an anime character (I actually ran fast in that dream :3) I don't remember more from part 1 and 2 of my 4-in-1 dream, so I just write about the part 3! (this one was really short)
Ailuro was singing on AIM.....that was the part 3....I can't remember part 4....
Then I woke up and walked to the kitchen after some water, after that I returned to my bed.
I started dreaming more about the
container jail but this time I was outside, making some kinda PE with some friends I can't remember......
^ that was one night XP

I had this really weird dream. It's a recurring dream (I tend to have it from time to time), but I haven't had it in years.
In the original dream, I get on a train/subway with all my classmates and we go on a fieldtrip to a really weird place. Once we went to an auditorium to perform (choir). Once we went to this huge mall (don't know why... i hate shopping).
I have to give a record of all my travels when I give the train people my ticket. The record is a sheet of paper with the dates of every time i've taken the train in the dream. Every time I have this dream, there's an extra date on the record, and while it's not exact it's fairly accurate; they are the general dates of the times i went on this train. It's funny because I'd never been on a train until a couple of months ago, but I've been having this dream for years.
The dream isn't a nightmare; far from it, but it's a little unsettling. I'm at the station with all my peers (they also change with each dream) and we're getting ready to get on, but I can't find my bag because it's covered by other bags. By the time I find it, everyone else has taken the train and left me. But another train comes and I get on and follow them. I hate this part of the dream because I'm always alone; all my friends are on the first train.
The train ahead (usually) stops at either a convenience store or a fast food restaurant, which gives me enough time to get there. The only problem is everyone has already eaten, so I have to go hungry. Then we reach our destination, and do whatever. I don't think I've ever dreamed long enough for the return trip more than once or twice.
Is that weird or what?

I do strange dreams, to... And even some FMA related one. I just tell you those, because I'm not sure if I could write the other ones in english (not enough vocabulary >.<)
Each time I dream of shopping (read: often), Scar is in the dream. He usually wants to kill me, or something, but the last dream I had with him in it, he wanted me to help him put on a beautiful yellow miniskirt.
I dreamt of FMA olympics once, too. Bradley was killing everyone who won when he didn't.
Two nights ago, I dream of Riza/Havoc (I like that pairing!). It was so strange... They where fighting against a big bad spider/dragon/monster, and there was something about a curse, a cave and much drama... I don't remember anything else, but I had this strange/sad feeling when I woke up...
The same night, I had a dream where I shared a house with the characters from RuroKen...

You dream, you just don't remember it when you wake up. I'm not a specialist, but you have to be in a specific stage of sleep to dream (like light sleep), and you must not fall deeper in sleep after. So, if you don't wake up immediatly after (or during) your dream, you won't remember it. Maybe feelings, but nothing else.

Yeah, the same things happens to me, sometimes. One day when I was very young I dreamt about my friend calling the other one fat and the the other laughing, and it happend last year I think. The scariest part of it is when I made the dream I knew neither of my friends, and I had never seen the place. :-S

Ok, try to interpret my dream, it starts with me running away from these panda bears. I was really scared, although why I wasn't exactly sure, but then I saw these pandas had spoonfulls of white stuff. They'd get really close then say "Here, have some weasel semen!" I'd scream and run faster, but they'd keep catching up to me and saying it over and over, "Here, have some weasel semen!" I finally found a room and ran inside and shut the door, but when I looked around, there were humungous panda faces on the walls, floor, and the ceiling, then they all said in unison, "HERE, HAVE SOME WEASEL SEMEN!!!" They then poured out fountains of weasel semen through their mouths. Luckily there was a bed in the room, so i got on it and watched as the semen slowly rose in the room. Eventually I was holding on the the post of the bed as the semen was about to touch my foot...
That's when I yelled and woke up in the middle of science class on the floor.
So what do you think?
SailorSev
Nov 30 2004, 05:42 PM
you have to wake up within 15 minutes of dreaming to remember it. You go through the REM stage of sleep (Rapid Eye Movement) about 3 to 5 times before you wake up, and you dream during REM sleep, so you dream about 3 to 5 times a night.
I learned all this in Psychology class

Not to be pessimistic, but that will be awfully hard. Just studying the basic parts of the brain took me some time. If you want to know how dreams occur, you'll have to go to neurons and stuff. Huh, I don't even remember what the gray matter is called anymore.

i had a very peculiar dream once. until now, i don't know if i dreamt it or if it was real.
one night as i somewhat, lay to sleep, i turned on the tv to fight off my paranoia of ghosts (since i watched something scary that day and it was 2am, no one else was awake but me).
anyway, I tuned in to cartoon network. Now, cartoon network is a 24-hour channel, right? so, how come i saw sheep (from sheep in the big city) jumping over the logo of cartoon network and below it were the words:
you should be sleeping right now
well, i thought it was weird for a 24-hour channel to show something like that. so i tuned in to see if it would change... and it did... only the subtitle that is:
time to put subliminal message
huh? so i kept watching... i think:
you are falling asleep
zzzzzz...
I waited for a while and it showed the same messages again and again. so I distinctly remember changing the channel to disney, but returned to cartoon network to see if it changed. but it was still there and i finallly fell asleep. Until today, i don't know if i dreamt the whole thing or i really did see it.

lol, my friend. That is why I said 3-5 times. I
am accounting for variations. The main variation is not the number of times one goes through REM sleep, but the time it takes to go through them. It takes the average person between six to eight hours to go through 4 or 5 REM stages, although in extreme cases, some can go through all of them in under 2 hours - people like that don't have to sleep very long. Also, as you get older, the less sleep you need, so an older person might only need 4 or 5 hours of sleep instead of 7 or 8.
