Gametrailers' newest batch of retrospective movies focuses on the Star Wars franchise. If you haven't seen any of the other GT retrospectives, you can think of this as a video game documentary. These guys do a fantastic job of going through a video game franchise's history.

There are already several other retrospectives that you should check out as well (final fantasy, LoZ , and metroid).

So far the following 4 parts have been released.

Part I "The Arcade shooters and Atari beginnings of far, far away"

Part II " The games that brought you each original chapter from start to finish. "

Part III " The games that started the saga - Menace, Clones, and Sith. "

Part IV "X-Wing, TIE Fighter, and Alliance; the dogfights that drove the conflict forward."
