Hiro gave a relieved sigh as Allen found Kari and she tried getting untangled from her blankets and fell off the bed half way with her eyes red and her cheeks tear stained and she said in a rather cracked voice "Er hi?"

Allen felt a sweatdrop go down the back of his head but another crack of thunder exploded, and she whimpered and held her cat ears down, trying to block the sound.

"Fear of thunder..." he mumbled to himself. Bending down and helping her sit back up, he held her close to his side, trying to comfort her. Looking over at the binder, he saw a sheet of music with lyrics on it. The words, Mom always sang this were scrawled in black cursive writing at the bottom of the page. His hand, left one, was gently stroking her hair, his long nails scratching against her scalp lightly. Footsteps sounded and he looked up, to see Maria there, rubbing her eyes blearily.

"What's wrong Maria-imotou?" He asked her quietly, the house dark and people most likely sleeping. She padded up to the two of them, the bunny being clutched in her hand by it's ear.

"I heard Kari-nee being scared," she said, and brought the little fist that was rubbing her eye forward and a small flame appeared, making the room glow with light and warmth.

Kari blushed and mumbled softly "Arigato Allen-kun,Maria-chan." and Hiro jumped up and licked her face resting his head on her lap

Allen smiled and brought Maria into his lap, the flame still in her hands.

"Kari-nee is afraid of storms. I remember someone who was too," Maria said, looking at them and the small flame.

"I said to her, 'Watch the flame, and it will go away," and when she did, she fell asleep, and didn't mind the storm anymore," Maria said, yawning some as she held the flame in front of the two.

"I bet you can do the same for Kari-nee, eh Maria-imotou?" Allen said, still holding Kari against his side as he pet her head gently. It was almost like a family, but not one at all.

Kari watched the flame getting drowsy just at watching it as she cuddled against Allen mumbling half asleep "Thanks you guys....I haven't had anybody to do this for awhile.'

Jillian mumbled some colorfull words really annoyed by all the noice the storm was making "Great I havent sleep in two days and when I am about to fall asleep there is a freaking storm" She thought angrily as she got up and turn the light, she blincked and yawned suddenly the light went off "What the..." Jillian thought but her thoughts were interrupted when there was a loud crash the sound of breaking glass, she then felt the shards of the lamp above her fall down. Suddenly there were more crashing noices like all the lamps in the house were exploting, she cursed as she got up as she suspected what was happening, she ran out of her room as she muttered some words in other languague as she opened her hand and a small sphere that shined pale blue appeard in her palm allowing her to see the way, in the now completly black house *The magic pollution spread faster than I thought* She thought as she ran looking for the others, suddenly there was a loud thunder and all the windows in the house opened, a really strong wind entering.

(Basically all the lamps in the house exploted and the windows opened)

Allen smiled and let her fall asleep, the thunder rolling away and the rain beating against the glass. Maria fell asleep as well, and the flame died, leaving the room dark. Hiro was curled next to Allen's right side, and he felt his head sweatdrop some.

"I'm crowded and have no way out..." he muttered under his breath. He layed Kari back underneath her blankets and held the sleeping Maria in his arms, walking back towards his room. Placing the little girl in his bed, Allen dressed for his own sleep, a pair of black sweat pants and a long sleeved shirt to go along with it, and fell asleep, Tim nestled in the pillows between Maria and Allen, the rain acting like a soft lullaby for everyone in the house.

Hiro laid down next to Kari pulling the blankets up somewhat over her shoulder with his teeth and fell asleep as Kari started drooling over the strawberry ice cream and milk filled dream.

Jillian stopped next to a door and knocked "Dom!!" She called, Domovoi walked out of his room "Yeah??" He asked whit his eye almost closed wanting to sleep more, but his eyes widened a little when he saw the shining sphere in her hand "Why are you..." He was about to ask but she interrupted "The magic pollution spread faster than I thought we have to eliminate it right now" She said "Bring all we need" She said "Do I call the others?" He asked she shook her head "No is ok" She said as she ran away, Domovoi nooded and ran out of his room.

Kari rolled over falling off her bed with an "ITE!" and she noticed as she was rubbing her tail that it was morning and sunny and she smiled

Jillian rubed her eyes and groaned in pain she looked around and saw complicated drawings (Drawings that are neccesary to perform some spells to clean all the magic pollution) in the floor and walls, she cursed and muttered some words in other languague and the drawing dissapeard, she got up but sat down again when she felt her head spinning, she blincked "I think I overdid it last night" She mumbled, she then took a deap breath and got up again but this time she started coughing, she clinched her stomach as she covered her mouth whit her hand, she then cursed as she saw blood in her hand "Not again" She muttered, suddenly there was a knock in ther door "Jillian are you ok??" Dom called "I am fine Dom I will go downstairs in a while" She lied "Are you sure?" He asked "Yeah dont worry" She said still clinching her stomach "I am gonna fix the lamps" He said "Ok" She said

Kari groggily got up rubbing her eyes smoothing down her hair since it was sticking up again and made her way down the stairs trying not to trip and kill herself mumbling to herself "I want milk....and something that has strawberries in it."

Jillian sat in her bed, her head buried in her hands, she then started coughing again she cursed as she cleaned the blood again, she lay on her bed and closed her eyes as silent tears falled in her pillow.

Kari managed to get down stairs to the kitchen falling down only twice as she went to the fridge to get milk and she looked at the clock and went anime white and spazzed ".........6AM?!"

Allen blinked as the sun rose up and shined into his eyes. Sitting up, he looked over to see Maria was stil sound aslee, curled up and her littles hands tucked under her chin, the stuffed rabbit having fallen to the floor. Allen chuckled quietly and pulled the blankets back over her, getting out and stretching some. Making sure she was still asleep, he took of his night shirt and did his morining routine once more. About half way through on his right arm, having finished with his left, he heard coughing and cursing next door, Jillians room.

"I wonder.. what could be wrong?" Allen asked himself, panting slightly because he didn't do these for awhile. Finishing in about 5 minutes, Allen got upo off the chair and pushed it back in, sweat sleeked across his forehead and back. Looking over at the clock, he found it to only be 6:30 AM. Maria had yet to get up so he just left Tim with her. He could guild her to the kitchen when needed be. Getting dressed in his usual black trousers, white dress shirt, gray vest, bow, he left the room and quietly closed the door. More coughing sounded, and Allen knocked on Jillian's door.

"Are you alright Jillian-chan?" He asked her, the coughing seeming to get worse.

Jillian closed her eyes tigheter as more silent tears fallen in her pillow "Yes I am fine Allen" She lied as she clinched her fists, and then covered her mouth when she started coughing again, staining her hand whit blood, more tears falled as she closed her eyes.

Allen, hearing the strangled answer, knew she wasn't. He knew he would be in a world of hurt but he was worried. He cared for others more then himself. He focused his arm to activate and taking a single claw, having lost the bobby pin last night, he picked at the lock to her room.

"By the way you're coughing, I take that as a no even though you say yes," he said through the door. Hearing a click, he let his arm return to normal and then opened the door to see blood staining Jillian's hands, bed, pillow, and face. He was about to panic but decided it wouldn't do any good.

"If something's wrong, you can tell me. I've had to learn how to tell if Kanda was upset. If he was, he'd point his sword at anyone that dared be near him, and glare at everyone. If he was calm, he was still silent but he ignored everyone," Allen said, taking a 'kercheif from out of his pocket and offered it to her.

"Might as well just go play something on Hiro."Kari mumbled to herself as she finished her milk and strawberries and started walking up the stairs more awake then earlier.

More tears falled down her cheeks she took the 'kercheif that Allen was offering to her and cleaned her face as she looked at the floor still clinched her stomach "In the basilisk mission I got injured but I decided it wasnt big deal but last night to control all the magic pollution in the house I used some powerfull spells and I think I overdid it" She said, and then started coughing again she blincked as her view was going blurry, more tears falling.

Kari walked past Jill's room hearing the crying she knocked and asked slightly worried "Can I come in?"

Allen sighed and grabbed another one from his pockets, helping clean her up some.

"You need to rest then. I'll call Komui or Bookman with any ideas one how to stop you from coughing up blood," Allen suggeted, rubbng her back some to help her breath easier and just wiped the tears from her eyes gently.

"Are you the only one who can do this, or are there other ways?" He asked, gently stroking her hair with his right hand, tucking her hair behing her ears.

Jillian nooded "Yeah Kari you can come in" She said, she then looked at the floor again "Well there are other ways but last night I had to do it if I didnt wanted it to spread more" She said as she wiped her tears.

Kari came in and asked Jillian gently "Are you alright?You don't look so good,your all pale."

Jillian shook her head slowly "Not really but I will ok in a while" She said as she forced a smile, she then bit her lip "Guys? Please dont tell Alexander or Domovoi" She said as she looked at the floor.

Kari nodded with a smile and said "Your secret's safe with me Jill-chan."

Allen, hearing the request, sighed but nodded as well. Helping her once more, he said her upon her bed and smiled at her.

"What other ways are there to stop this, 'Magic pollution' Jillina-chan?" He asked her, helping clean her hands as she was starting to shake with a cold sweat glistening over her forehead.

"Magic Pollution?That's from people using too much magic around the house making it go haywire right?"Kari asked

Jillian smiled lightly "Thanks guys" She said, she then nooded slowly "Yes, after a certain period of time the Association calls all the magical organizations and orders them to "clean" theyr headquarters" She said "If we dont, magic starts acting by its own" She said "To stop the spread of magic pollution, there are many spells and ceremonys" She said "But everyone has different methods, shinto priest use theyr scrolls, chants etc ,celt mages use theyr spells, exorcists, omnyoudou users etc, all of them use different methods" She said as she nooded "But in general it is all about purifing the place, and to do so we have to find the core of the pollution, the core can be an object a plant etc., when we find it we purify and if it is necesary we destroy it" She explained, and then took a deap breath as she was about to start coughing again.

"Well that's rather complicated,is the place clean then?"Kari said/asked sweat dropping

Jillian chuckled lightly but stopped when she started coughing again, she shook her head "Well last night I only stopped the spread but I couldnt find the core" She said

"Great,wait does this core have a certain scent to it by chance I dunno like rotten eggs for example?"Kari asked with a grin getting an idea

Jillian shruged "Well hard to say, cores appear in different forms and have...umm... different smells" She said as she sweatdropped

Allen listened to this, and nodded, having it go through his mind and registering it.

"So basically, we either have to find the object that's causing it, clean it with cerimonies, etc., right?" He asked, and getting nods from the other two, he sighed and hung his head, trying to remember something.

"Lets see... normally I have my arm take energy from my body, and I replace it by eating large amounts of food. I wonder..." he thought outloud, trailing off as his mouth stopped speaking.

"The thing is that suit or armor that almost fell down on Maria smelled weird but it might just be a coincidence."Kari said scratching the back of her head

Jillian tilted her head "Well something that I am sure is that when magic pollution spreads, things start ocurring and at first they are small things like: lamps explote, things fall, windows open whit no cause, that sort of things, that commonly are mistaken whit ghost and polthergeists, but if the spread isnt stopped, things get worst, magic starts acting by itself in a higher level, it can create monsters, take houses or even people to the past or other dimention the list of things that magic pollution makes keeps going and going"

"Well then we better get going to find whatever the core is."Kari said sighing
(gotta go for a lil while,I've been at my friends house so now I gotta leave his house XD)

Allen brought his head up once more, when he heard the sound of the doorbell ringing. Standing up, he motioned for Jillian to lay back down, since she looked like she was going to get up.

"I'll go get it," he said, and walked out of the room, picking up Maria as she had Tim leading her to the kitchen probably. Holding the still sleepy child in his arms, he opened the big double doors to see a young woman there, long, shin-length burgandy red hair was starting to get wet as the rain was starting up yet again.

"Is this Rental Magica?" The woman asked, shifting a red knapsack on her shoulders, as brown eyes were darting everywhere.

"Uh... yeah. Why?" He asked, shifting Maria in his arms once more. She barged in and closed the door, panting as if having run a mile, making Allen jump back from being locked out, his silvery blue eyes wide.

She nooded "When this happens I just wish the house werent be so big" She muttered and started coughing again "Dammit" She cursed, she then got up even when she knew she shouldnt "Allen who is it??" She asked

Allen just blinked his single eye for a moment but the sound of Jillian's voice made him very annoyed, especially since he told her to stay resting. Exhaling quickly, he turned towards the woman once more.

"Who are you? And you never asked my question as to why you are here," he stated, shifting the now stiring Maria in his arms once more.

"Sorry, but I was in a bit of a hurry. I'm Kayla and I'm what many call Gypsy's," she said, shaking her head some to rid of any water. "But we're not gypsy's. Our true name was lost years ago, back towards... Noah's flood I believe..." she said, bringing a finger to her chin in thought.

"Anyways, I've been traveling for about three days straight just to get here. The place is a glowing lighthouse compared to most of the other places I've been to with Magical Pollution," she said, not knowing that Allen was an exorcist.

Jillian walked to the door but stopped when she started coughing again "Ok now that wasnt a good idea" She mumbled as she clinched her stomach, she then shook her head, and then dissapeard, she was severly injured but she still had magic, she then reaperd were Allen and the woman were talking, she felt her head was spinning but just ignored it and looked at woman "In what can we help you?" She asked

Allen jumped once more and gave Jillian a small glare. Kayla just laughed at the glare and turned towards Jillian.

"I'm basically here to help cleanse the place. See, I have a ceremony that pretty much brings the untamed magic of this place, and has it absorbed into me. Like gems that are magic containers of a sort," Kayla explained, setting down her knapsack and taking the place in with her copper brown eyes.

"It's very simple," she said, and then looked back at Allen and Maria and placed a hand upon both Allen's and Maria's arm, which were touching ever so slightly.

"An elemental and exorcists. Parasitic as well," she said, backing her hand away to stop any thing else from entering her mind. "An easy way to help bring the energy into you," she said, pointing a finger at Allen, "is to exhaust yourself to critical and then activate your parasitism, it should draw in energy around you," she finished, bringing her hand down and looking at Jillian.

"Is it okay if I help along?"

Jillian sweatdropped whit Allen glare, she then turn toward Kayla "Well it would be great, but whit no intention of being rude, why?" She asked *Wonder if she knows Alexander?* She thought *Perhaps she is looking for job?*

Kayla looked at Jillian, then blinked.

"I thought Alexander told you I was coming here," she said, Allen, having set Maria down, facefaulted along with Jillian.

She answers Jillian but not me. Why!? Allen asked himself, getting back up with a bright red mark upon the bridge of his nose and his forehead. Maria just went over to the knapsack and opened it up, finding a bunch of cloth in it.

"These are pretty," she said, holding up a red shawl with gold embriodry. Allen sighed and took the shawl away from Maria and placed it upon her knapsack again.

"You don't go through other's stuff Maria-imotou," Allen scolded, giving the young girl a stern look.

Jillian sweatdropped "Oh sorry but he didnt, well nevermind. Come in" She said as she started walking to the living room, as she took a deap breath and tried to ignore the pain in her head, she blincked as her view was going blurry.

Kari came down after a minute with Hiro at her heels and he tackled Maria licking her face the minute he got down there and she asked sweat dropping "Uh what's goin on?I got lost."

Allen looked at Jillian once more and pointed up the stairs.

"Get back to bed, unless you really want to pass out," he said, feeling some sort of motherly urge (how his female side, Robin from Zone, would be) to get her feeling better. Shaking that thought from his head, he just continued to look at her with his mouth set in a firm line.

"I'll take care of things here, so you don't have to worry Jillian-chan," he said, his face softening some. He heard Maria giggle as she played with Hiro and he paid no mind to it, knowing Hiro could take care of her if needed be. Kayla was confused by this point.

"Jill-chan isn't feeling well today so I guess Allen-kun's taken the strict motherly role at this point to keep her in bed."Kari explained to Kayla sweat dropping

Jillian pouted and she opened her mouth but she then closed it cause she knew he was right "Ok" She said as she started walking away "If you guys have any question or need anything tell me" She said cause she hated feeling useless, she then turned around and walked to her room alredy feeling bored.

Allen watched as she went up the stairs and hearing her door closed, he turned towards Kayla.

"Okay, Domovoi-san and Alexander-san are not around, and I really don't want to push things upon Kari-chan nor Sephiroth-san, I guess I'll take charge, somewhat," he said. Cringing when he heard another suit of armor fall. Turning his head, he saw Maria staring at the fallen armor, and he shook his head.

"Okay.... anyways. I'll need till tonight for this to be ceremony to be finished, and everyone, and I mean everyone in this mansion, must be present," she said, her copper eyes looking at them as she held her pale hands upon her hips, the white colored turban she wore hugging her in every spot of her body as her bare feet tapped at the ground.

Alexander stoped the car infront of Rental Magica and got off the car, and walked toward the house, he opened the door and entered, he then went to the living room, he wasnt surprised when he saw the others gathered there, "Well Kayla glad you are here. So everybody seems we can start" He said as he nooded as he looked at all of them but then raised an eyebrown "Were is Jillian?" He asked puzzled
