Tadayasu Sawaki was born with an unique ability: He can see and communicate with bacteria and other micro-organisms - in fact they consider him to be their friend and are quite noisy. Together with his childhood friend, Kei, he starts a new year off as a first-year student at an Agricultural College. But none of his experiences so far could prepare him for college life!!

As this is an ‘educational’ anime series, the last 90 seconds of each episode is devoted to a `microbe theater` which has various micro-organisms explain who they are and what they do.

Brilliantly fun series. The microbes are awesome and the cast very well written.

It's on my Plan to Watch List. Those microbes are really cute.

Oh yeah, Asu can't describe anime to save his life (med students are like that.)

Okay, Moyashimon looks like a cheesy attempt to teach you about Microbes but it's really about the boy who can see them and how he and his friend adapt to college life. Along the way he meets some interesting people.

I fail to see what the plot of this series is. XD;;;

At first I watched this series for the microbes, and then I only watch it because Saiga Mitsuki dubbed Kei's voice...

Since i've finally watched the entire series. here's my take on it:

Nice short series that incorporates a small bit of education with a healthy dose of comedy and plenty of cuteness.
The goth maid at the end completely took me by surprise. I was wondering when Kei would return...

Will there be a second season? Who knows!
Nekokitty
^That caught me by surprise too. XD
Since I've finally seen this series entirely, a season 2 would be nice since the last two episodes felt rushed imo.
