This is the 1st pic of Ed i have done. Its not coloured or anything. I just wanna practice my anime fanart and get usful comments.

Pretty nice for a first attempt at Ed. I would never have attempted to draw him like this the first time. Automail is still my main weakness. But drawing, his Automail showing and bare chested, is really brave if you ask me. I useally start with just them standing or a portrait of them before I try something like this.

I think you did really well with this for a first try. There are a few problems here and there but overall it isn't bad. His shoulder looks kind of funky and the automail looks like it has wires hanging out. His body looks kind of strange, but the porporition isn't bad. He doesn't look like a six foot person XD. His head could do with some work, but I really think you did pretty well though. My first attempt looked like crap, I threw him away. I got Winry drawn, but at that point just couldn't draw Ed.

I agree with wateria, that's pretty nice for your first try!! And, I think you picked Ed in rather difficult pause!! Maybe you can do something little more easy for your drawing?
Anyway, practice, practice, and please keep up!!
