An Update for Autumn 2008 style. Probably one of the best looking seasons I've seen since I started looking into such things.

You have the second season of Nodame (seen here in Asunder's thread), some Fist of the North Star, former PS3 exclusive Bounen no Xambou (I wonder if PS3 fanboys will boycott it now?), H-game adaptation Clannad: After Story, Hell Girl 3, Tales of the Abyss, something by Gainax, Michiko to Hatchin and the SZS and LS OVA. Those are just the ones I assume most of you will like but really, there look to be quite a lot worth checking out.

Juushin Enbu? Isn't that the new Arakawa anime?

If so that will definitely be subbed. Someone will sub if just to appease FMA fans who want to see if it's as good as FMA.

This is where me not researching the titles before my predictions comes and bites me on my pert little ass.
Yeah, that should get subbed. I doubt the more..."passionate" FMA fans will like it even if it's better.

Oh, Genshiken?? I've read up to Vol.5 and it's pretty good! biggrin.gif

Preview of the Fall 2007 anime season
Little Washu
^The guy in the Jyuushin Enbu thing looks kinds like Lin from the FMA manga XD.

The Ah! My Goddess special looks interesting =3

I also read somewhere about Sketchbook ~full color's~ and I think it looks pretty good.

OMG! A live Negima! drama?! I must see it!!! Even though most of the characters look nothing like the anime ones(And I don't just mean the purple and green hair), Setsuna looks pretty good though.

EDIT:
Actually, I just watched the preview and I REALLY want to see it now. The Negi looks so cute. Though he's supposed to be British mellow.gif I think the only real downfall was the Harry Potter music rip-off.
Popogeejo
Live action Negima will be made of fail.

CLANNAD is airing right now, expect subs from Eclipse by Saturday.
Fushi
Did Love Hina even receive this sort of popularity?

The only live actions I'll ever bother watching are the following:

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon (for the hotness that is Dark Sailor Mercury)

Cutie Honey (for the lulz)
Little Washu
@Popogeejo- I doubt you even know what Negima! is tease.gif.

@Fushigi Rockna- 'This sort of popularity'? Do you mean, 'is Love Hina as popular as 'Negima!'? Well, in a sense Love Hina is more popular, having been released before Negima!. But I've read in one of Akamatsu's Author Notes in one of my manga volumes of Negima!, that Negima! is becoming just as, or even more, popular. Because of the 'cuteness' of the characters, the interesting story line, and the fact that many people just love Akamatsu's style. And even though in Negima!? the character's looks differ(hair color changes, and even the general style, just look at my avatar and then look up the 1st anime), people like the original better because of the reasons I named above smile.gif.

I finally saw the live action Negima!, and it's pretty good, though most of the actresses bugged me. And they sorta killed my cosplay character(Fei-ku). Oh well, I'll try to watch more. Though I will admit, I get through episodes of that easier that Lucky * Star, which I find good but oddly hard to watch, and I become uninterested after about 20 minuets.

I know what Negima is and even I think this will be made of fail.
(plus, don't doubt Popo's knowledge of anime. He knows alot of series that are pretty under the radar, I'm sure he knows all the popular ones too. Plus he goes to 4chan. There's probably Negima porn there.)

Seriously. Does the series really need a live action? I don't think so. I think it's getting ridiculous what they're doing with it. Next, there'll be a musical.

Once again, I don't think Love Hina got this sort of attention and Love Hina was pretty huge, especially in the overseas market. (Where Negima continues to fall short)
Popogeejo
Negima: Welsh wizard boy has to teach a class as part of his training. 20+ girls for him to mess about with.
Two anime series: Negima! and alternate re-telling Negima!? produced by SHAFT.
From clips I've seen it has a lot if Ecchi (which makes me wonder why I haven't watched it yet...)
Basically kid with huge harem of girls trying to become a big special wizard to achieve whatever goal.
Little Washu
@Popogeejo- The anime? No ecchi whatsoever. It's rated 12+. Now if you want ecchi, the manga is for you my friend. Oh, and it's 31 girls to be perfectly exact. But, I guess 20+ works too, and not all of them like him. Most of them just think of him as a friend smile.gif. But, I would recommend the manga first. The 1st anime differs after a short period of time, and the re-telling, well, let's just say the pretty artwork and nice music is all it has going for it wink.gif.

So do I. I bet you've never heard of Nanaka 6/17, Red Garden, Super GALS, UFO Ultramaiden Valkyre, Ghost Stories, Wandaba Style, 2x2=Shinobuden(something I feel Mr. Popogeejo would also enjoy smile.gif), Ichigo Mashimaro, Kikaider, ect. And he could have easily read a summary somewhere then re-typed it in his own lingo. But, I do respect Mr. Popogeejo.

Stop making this into a contest of who knows more anime. No one cares...
Popogeejo
Clannad seems okay but so far nothing to write home about. Action sequences are well done though.

EDIT
Now with more of my opinions.

And like asu said, who bloody cares? All I said was that Popo has a big knowledge of anime. I wasn't challenging your knowledge of anime or anything, just challenging the fact you're in a sense trying to start sh-t.

(and btw, I DO know quite a few of those titles. I even have music from SUPER GALS and UFO Ultramaiden Valkyrie, but I'm too busy watching Rozen Maiden, one of the best 'under the radar' animes out there to bother watching that stuff.)

Speaking of which...I'm still distressed there's no sign of a third Rozen series. T_T Not in this list of fall anime or any info released about it. (I know Rozen has always premiered around Christmas but if there was a third season this year we'd get some sort of indication. Wahhhh...) Damn open ended endings, I hate you! >:U
Blitz
^ Ambiguous endings suck. >_>;; Darker than BLACK had one of those and I'm really hoping for a second season.

I never finished watching Rozen Maiden, now that I think about it. I have to put that on my list.

Oh, yeah, and if you're thinking about watching live actions, add Nodame Cantabile to that list. It's about classical music, but it's absolutely hilarious. It actually converts you into liking classical. XD

So far, I've already seen Shakugan no Shana second and Gundam 00 of the fall season. I'm waiting for Code Geass season two to roll around.
Nekokitty
Out of those, I am soooo watching CLANNAD and Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro. xD
I may check out Juushin Enbu and Shugo Chara as well. Hmmm, Ayakashi looks sweet as well.

But Tsubasa RC: Tokyo Revlations is what I'm looking forward to the most~~

And like Blitz, I'll also be waiting patiently for Code Geass 2 and Haruhi Suzumiya 2~

When the heck is Juushin Enbu scheduled to air anyways? Or has it already and no one is subbing it?

Wiki says it started airing on the 8th. There's a raw on TT but no subs.

Kousen-Karasu(/DATS?) and KuroNeko are rumored to sub Jyushin Enbu
Popogeejo
I've watched a few shows from the new season.
Ghost Hound and Moyashimon are probably the best. One Mind Rape and some super cute Bacteria make a nice mix. I need more eps of Ghost Hound though before I can be certain about that.
Clannad is fine but so far Kanon 2006 is feeling like it was better (episode for episode.)
Juushin Enbu:Hero Tales just didn't do it for me. To DBZ like.

Kaji and Minami-ke also seem to be going over well.
Popogeejo
Double post!

Eclipse are releasing wide screen versions of Clannad along side the non wide screen versions.
Popogeejo
Three in a row!

I'm looking forward to SZS and Gunslinger girl 2.

It does that when the images are shrunk. The thread shrinks to fit but the page still thinks the images are normal sized.
Popogeejo
Bump for updated first post.
Little Washu
I'm looking forward SZS and LS, but I have to say, I can't wait to see Yozakura Quartet. The manga is amazing, and the anime, so far, is looking good(art wise).
