Some people here have shown musical and poetic talent. I am not one of these but I sure want to hear from some of them.
Post here lyrics, poems and hopefully videos of you performing (or others performing your work).
If anyone is offended by the title then grow up

My poems are not emo so up yours nyaaaaa
You tempted me to protest, and to post some silly poems
Life Makes Scents
When I wake, there is the smell
Of the toast my housemate makes
Mixed in with her coffee and shampoo
From her recently washed hair
Getting ready, the smell of my clothes
Which somehow still smell of home
The hairspray my aunt recomended to me
The perfume grandma treated me to
As I leave the house, a car had leaked
What a joy for me, the petrol fumes
Quickley overcast, by stale beer and fags
As I wander past the local pub
A tour round the shops, how confusing it is
From take away food to cold store room clothes
By the time I leave the health shop, herbs up my nose
I'm glad to pass the pub and yesterdays drunks sick
Passing the church, I can smell the old wood
Its old, its cold, its historical, unloving
The man cutting the grass is a happy alteration
Even if this smell comes with a sneeze
Dinner could be anything, but mayonnase is normal
Then my Earl Grey is how I end my evening
My nightie smells of raw sleepy me
A lavendar rabbit takes me to a world of no scents
English Weather (this ones been published)
Keep your sunshine Africa
I've got something better
Keep your dry sky Australia
I've got English weather
Keep your sushi please Japan
I do not find it nice
Keep your curry India
I care not for spice
Keep your attractions America
They are far too bright
Keep those hours please Brazil
I only move in light
Keep your fancy views France
It's not what I like to see
Keep your sexy ways Italy
I'll have a cup of tea
Keep the clean white snow Russia
I prefer shades of grey
Keep the gold beaches Jamaica
I don't like them that way
Yes keep your exotic items world
Your flavours, colours and such
For we, the wet, dull English
Find it all a little too much
Drunken Lament
"Oh I have a poorly head
I think I shall go back to bed"
Was the cry of the morning after
"You've drunk too much,
by morning you'll be dead"
Were the words that I had often said
Usually the night before

I just have a short poem, I did a few months ago XP (I don't have anythingn else to contribute to the other categories yet, I'm working on it tho)
Why no more birds come to my backyard
The blue bird weeps
The black birds whisper
The swallowtail keeps
An eye on its sister
The robin struts
As in the grass stalks
The black birds make a fuss
But the robin continues its walk
And so the robin dies
The blue bird cries
The cat leaves smiling like Cheshire.
True story.
Simplistic, yes, shut up. I'll try and dig up my black swan one I did for creative writing a year ago, that was long 8D
