hey all....got one noob here

, I've been out of anime ever since Bebop ended and I watched all Ghibli's until I come to this compelling series that forced me to do 51 episodes marathon in ~2 days so I can concentrate on my graduation.
NEway...
Riza Hawkeye
- Caring heart
- Strict discipline
- Markmanship
- Loyalty
- Just enough & mediocre beauty
(not too gorgeous, not too ugly, which is best since "too..." is always disastrous)
and of course, I'm on my way to commission --> 2nd Lieutenant then 1st Lieutenant (Chui

). Can't say I'm too good with sidearms, but a .300 Winmag will do in any day. Also I'm one of those hopeless romantics who believe in spending entire lifetime caring and protecting special person, even when there's nothing in return in this life.
& now just some bs I have to let off my chest so I can sleep

:
why Lieutenant Hawkeye?
She shows unconditional love aka. charity. Sometime I feel sad Roy seems to see her as nothing but a comrade, although for sure he's aware of her affection (it seems he teased her a lot by his reference to beautiful girls , gesture to a nurse, even modifying her look with a pair of glasses, as if the lieutenant were too "masculine" and not beautiful enough for his type).
Then again, perhaps it's proffessionalism and he'd prefer dating non-military person. Nevertheless, she's literary living for him; she'll do anything to keep him out of harms way, she understand his complexity, inner demons, etc. I'm surprised to find myself sobbing with her at the end. Normally such scene is too sappy for me.
....sigh...I can only wonder and hope for her best at those moments in the ending. There's no romance whatsoever throughout the entire series and even at the ending, there's only a faithful lieutenant with a heart of gold who's always there for the colonel no matter what......perhaps Roy's gay afterall: RoyxHavoc forever!!!
...ok, jokes aside, hopefully the movie will provide some (NON FAN SERVICE!!!!) clues and such of how much the lieutenant means to the colonel and (hopefully) how he is grateful and cares for her deep inside.

For something random, that handkerchief is the cutest scene

I've seen in a looong time....ROY MUSTANG NO BAKA!!!!
