juarez rounded another corner, dressed in civillian clothing now. he came across a boy lying on the forest floor.

"what, yeah! Completely fine, just needed fresh air, you know, well back to my house!" said Kaido.

He walked back to his house.

"So, how did it go?" asked Eiki.

"Better than I thought?"

"Well you know what happens now,"

But it was too late, Grandfather Eiki had grabbed kaido by the wrist and once again thrown him through the roof. Kaido landed in the arena.

howitzer was ready to announce the next group
"ladies and gentlemen, we have reached the semi-finals, so first of all, i will pit the martial artist kaido against the magician herod" he shouted as the wizard entered the arena to join kaido
"gentlemen, is this a deathmatch or not?"

"DEATHMATCH!!!" Shouted Kaido, [shocked anime face]

Nathaniel, Kieran, and Alexander walked and saw the match quietly. "All this has happened while we were sleeping?" Nathaniel wondered aloud. "Too bad we couldn't sign up... We'd kick ass..."

"OH MY GOD! GRAMPS I'LL KILL YOU!" shouted Kaido

"a deathmatch? very well, a deathmatch it is" roared howitzer to the cheering crowd

"Hey, isn't that guy..?" Nathaniel lazily pointed at Kaido.

"Yep, that's him..." Kieran said, with an unsually straight face.

Alexander blinked. "Who??"

"THAT'S NOT WHAT I MEANT!" shouted Michael, as the wizard started entering the arena,(Kaboom, how about we let late comers enter the tournament)

"It's a deathmatch, right?" Nathaniel asked Kieran.

"Yup," he said, scratching the inside of his ear.

"Heh, I think this might be fun to watch..." Nathaniel said, leaning against the wall. "It could be bloody..." she licked her lips and smiled.

Alexander looked on. "They're gonna kill each other?!"

The wizard walked up to the arena.

"So boy, any last words" said the wizard.

"Yeah, eat this!" shouted Kaido, as he went to kick the wizard in the face."

Bouclier!" shouted the wizard. As soon as his kick was about to land, a magic shield appeared and knocked Kaido back a bit.

"Epee D'magique!" A magic sword flew through the air and appeared to have hit Kaido, Kaido fell onto the floor.

"due to time restrictions, we must compress the competitors into larger fights. herod will have tree other finalists in his team, but kaido will need teamates from somewhere."
