"cheers kari!" said jonny

Kari smiled and said "Cheers."

"For once I get good food," shouted Kaido, he parried his Grandfather's blow and kicked him across the corridor.

Kari smiled and said "Pancackes are ready." and Kari brought out a couple plates of pancackes out.

"I'll need the energy for the big tournament at midday. Where do you think those 3 other people went?" asked Kaido. Kaido took a pancake and ate it as quickly as he could.

"They said something about they're going to see they're sensei."Kari said

howitzer was at the arena. already it was beginning to fill with spectators, buthe was not to sit with the peasants. he, as a lord, was to sit in the grand box. he knew he was the only one of the 14 lords at this ceremony. he had seen no other zeppelins. only his grey blimp stood out on the skyline.
he sat in his seat, where he had a perfect view of the arena, right now being dusted by workers, who were putting sand down to stop competitors slipping.
howitzer took out some papers and began to reherse his grand speech.

Kari yawned and her tail stretched and came back with a chocolate bar and she started eating it.

"Kaido, it's time to go to the tournament. Remember, it will be long and grueling, it is a tournament of all these lands, there will be about 100 other contestants. So be focused!" shouted Grandfather.

"yeah, I know, you guys want to see the tournament, I manage to get some tickets in. Grandfather gets in free because he's won so many times. I as a contender got some tickets free" he asked, looking at Jonny and kari.

"You guys could even enter, if you really wanted. As long as you apply before midday," he added.

"I'm not much of a fighter only if I really need to I fight."Kari said sweat dropping slightly

"Sure thing, well, I'd better be leaving, I'd like to get there early to train," said Kaido.

He got up and started walking torwards the stadium.

"Bye Kaido-san!"Kari said

knox brushed past a guard on the right nwing of the arena. "did you find out?"

"none of them are registered, but that don't mean they're not involved."

"are the ogres ready?"

"four of 'em ready in the animal pens. if they do enter, the ogres 'll get em"

"good" and knox was gone again

Kaido got the stadium, today was the big day, he had another hour before it commenced. He couldn't find the door which annoyed, so he concentrated his energy and... it a quick knock from his fists made a hole into the wall, and he went through into the arena.

"Sorry, I didn't know where the door was!" shouted Kaido.

Kari yawned and said "I'm most likely going to be sleeping all day..."

as knox left, the guard turned again to him "are you sure we shouldn't tell the master?"

"not about the cat woman. you know of his fear of cats?"

"yes"

"then keep it quit" snapped knox, and moved into the crouds

Kari made her tail get her drawing pad and Kari started drawing out of boredom.

Kaido looked around, he saw a rather fat man speaking, he jumped up to him

"Excuse me but where are the fighters meant to meet?" he asked.

"good luck kaido!" shouted jonny trying to make some freindly banter "lovely pancakes kari!"

Kari started drawing a park and her hands just went around on her paper subconciously and her tail few her chocolate."Thank you Johnny."Kari said smiling

howitzer turned casually to kaido

"mm? you refering to me?" he said unsurely

"Yeah, I don't know where we are meant to meet" he said to Howitzer not realising who he was.

"sir eiki, how do you think kaido will do today?" asked jonny

"hmm... If he can survive me hitting him that hard, and carry on getting back up and fighting again. I think he'll do well. He's like a cockroach, in the sense that he is ridiculously tough." said Eiki proudly.

"how sould i know? it's none of my buissness where you're supposed to meet, is it? try my areas commander, agent domo. he's probably skulking around somewhere." said howitzer, annoyed

"Good thing I'm a medical specialist then when he gets home he might be beat."Kari said smiling at her now finished drawing.

"well, i bought two tickets, but there is only one of me! so as i would not waste it, would you like to come with me and watch kaido kari?" asked jonny

Kaido jumped onto Howitzer's head and looked around, he saw the dark man he met yesterday.

"Maybe he's domo," he said, as he jumped down to ask.

"are you Domo?" asked Kaido.

"OK Johnny."Kari said smiling

"Yes, you are truly gifted with healing," said Eiki, "Well I'd best be off soon to watch him, and I'm a guest of honour."

whist howitzer was shouting things like "young ruffian" and "little welp" domo turned to kaido.

"do you want me?"

"come on then kari! we better go! goodbye sir eiki and good luck!" said jonny as him and kari walked out of the door to head to the arena

"I can control my energy perfectly and the fact that I'm part demon makes it harder to control it but there's alot more to use that's how I heal that well."Kari said thinking outloud

"let's hope kaido is unshaved but if he is hurt at least we have a medic!" said jonny

"Yeah where are the fighters to mee... hang on, your the man from yesterday!" shouted Kaido.

Kari smiled and said "It's really the only thing I can do to help people."

"well your a brilliant cook and brilliant on the guitar!" said jonny to kari

"Kari, don't worry, I'm sure, somehow all of you will help ordinary people somehow, and change the whole view of non-humans," said Granfather Eiki.

Kari blushed and said "Thank you."

knox immidiately put on his accent "oh...hello dear boy, so nice to see you again. i heard the tournament was today and i apsolutely couldn't miss it, so i am here now. hows yourself?"

Kaido was suspicious, he concentrated his energy and stamped on Domo's toes.

"well your a better cook than sir eiki according to kaido!" joked jonny

"Well I kinda grew up on my own so a girl has to learn how to cook."Kari said blushing still

"WHAT! I'M A GREAT COOK!" shouted Grandfather Eiki from the distance.

knox didn't expect this. he could have retaliated, but decided it was best not to. he mearly groaned, and said "my dear fellow, what on earth was that for?"

Kari laughed

"i know a guy who was the same, and amazingly, he was a good cook too! could not sing though! or play the guitar!" said jonny

"sorry Domo, it's just I thought you were like spy or something, funny eh..." said Kaido laughing. He was embarrased.

Kari shrugged and said "It's what keeps me calm.If I get really mad or emotional for some reason I turn into my demon form."

"almost there now kari" said jonny
