Well, I searched the forum for this topic and didn't find one, so I decided to make it myself. I'm happy to see that at least two other people here like the game, too!

Anyway, for those of you who don't know about it, Haunting Ground is a survival horror game in which you must run and hide from bad guys out to hurt you, similar in vein to the Clock Tower series, for those of you who have played a game from it and if you have I shall love you forever. The twist to this game, however, is that you have a dog companion named Hewie who helps save your skin every once in a while. The game has great graphics, memorable characters and many puzzles, so I recommend it to people who would like to play a survival horror game in which you don't have to blow off zombie heads.

So, uh, for those of you who know about it, talk about whatever you want. Just remember to use the spoiler tag when needed! For a subject starter... What's your favorite character?

I only know this game through you...but I know enough to say this:

This game is like Silent Hill meets Fullmetal Alchemist. There's even a bat.... crazy homunculus crazier than Envy. And much moar hawt. MUCH MOAR.

That being said, from what you're shown me so far of the game Lime, I have to say I like Daniella - the aforementioned bat.... crazy homunculus. I still can't believe she's only a maid tho. MAIDS ARE SUPPOSED TO DRESS LIKE THEY WORK THERE NOT LIKE THEY OWN THE PLACE. o.o

I absolutly love this game, and I do agree with Fushigi, I found the alchemy part similar to Fullmetal Alchemist but with different words for it. Like instead of the Philosophers Stone it's called...erm...I think it begins with a L...u

I'm a fan of the Clock Tower series too, but I've only got the 3rd one. Still a really good game as long as you aren't expecting to weild a massive gun like in the Silent Hill Series.

Oh, I used to love this game! O: Haven't played it in a while though, and I don't even remember the name of most of the characters (except the main one's since...huh...it's the same as mine) but I do remember there was almost-lesbian action, yay!:D

Seriously, loved the music and graphics (it would have been nice for characters to have actual facial expressions when playing and fighting though); these were used subtly to make the game even creepier, along with characters like Debilitas and that crawling guy towards the middle of the game...the final boss was annoying though kinda sexy (Fiona is just asking to be raped along the entire game but especially by him...). This game didn't make me tremble like a lost little girl, but there were some pretty shocking scenes (Debilitas appearing out of nowhere and these vomiting/shaking white forms towards the end made me incomfortable). Hewie is adorable. Fiona is sexy in every outfit (and asking to be raped).

The only problems I have is that ennemies come back so many times it's annoying and you end up expecting them, also the last fight is ridiculously hard and disappointing. The 'basic' ending wasn't the greatest either, while one of the other endings had a Silent Hill-ish feeling to it (along with the horror, though softcore version). Still really liked it though, and would love replaying it. A sequel would be nice also but I won't get my hopes too high.

Yes, HG's equivalent of the Philosopher's Stone is the Azoth, although you do get this one item called the Godstone about halfway through the game that looks a lot like FMA's Philosopher's Stone. If you put it into this one machine, it even turns into another item called Philosopher's Earrings.

lol thanks I know and everyone says it's such a bad game but I love Clock Tower. I agree with Automne Fiona does look very smexy in every outfit, and yeah it is a Azoth xD..I hvae a really bad memory. The last boss is quite smexyful, I wouldn't try to kill him at all..actully I was quite disappointed when I did..ohhh well.

To be honest the best ending was the one where she was pregnant because you treated Hewie badly, hated doing that to him

I love the machiny thing that makes aceories, they come in really useful. I haven't played on it reacently because I'm addicted to Project Zero I and II. Or if you live in america its Fatal Frame, I have no idea why the titles were changed.

If you haven't played Project Zero then do..NOW it's awsome and very scary.

I can't say that I'm too proud to admit this, but... I have to agree that [spoiler]young Lorenzo[/spoiler] was hot, both voice wise and appearance wise. I'm rather curious about getting ending D myself, but I would feel positively awful if I did. D: I'll stick with videos on YouTube. X3;

I'm rather interested in getting Project Zero/Fatal Frame myself. I heard that it's pretty scary.


Also, Automne, I find it awesome how your name also happens to be Fiona. XDD Also, yes, Daniella loves molesting Fiona and it makes me giggle.

yeah you should it's such a good game, I'v only got the first two. I'm getting the third soon, when my wage comes in. You can work out the story from either one or two as the storys are different but all the characters in each game are near enougth related.

It's incredibly brilliant and very very scary, I love it ^^

zomg I'm trying to do that atm but its very hard...oooo just ordered project zero 3 will tell you how it goes. Am sure ill be traumatised and lose at least 2 months worth of socialising while playing it.
