So, we have any armchair Adventure gamers around here? The good old days when Lucas Arts made something other than stock Star Wars games, Myst was visually immersing, and our dueling prowess was accented only by our razor sharp wits.

one of my first computer games was Day of the Tentacle <3 ... Lucas arts games point and click adventures (such as sam and max, Full throttle and even grim fandango) were great games <3. It's a genre that's barely represented today. Sadly.

Full Throttle was one of my favorites, and I'm trying to track down a reasonably priced copy of Grim Fandango.

heh i couldn't find it at the lucasartsstore.com , so you might have to resort to ebay or using scumm vm and finding the older game torrents. Not sure if it's abandonware yet.
edit : just noticed http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lucas-Classic-Line.../dp/B00005B4P5/ check around, though.

have you ever played the tex murphy games? Under a killing Moon / Pandora's directive? ....Those games were live-action in the adventure style.

Under a Killing Moon stars Brian Keith (Hardcastle & McCormick, The Parent Trap), Margot Kidder (Superman I, II, III), Russell Means (The Last of the Mohicans, Natural Born Killers) and features the voice of James Earl Jones (Star Wars, Field of Dreams, The Lion King).

Margot Kidder AND James Earl Jones....how can you lose!
