Lol only thing was that Nazi Germany was bound to go to war, there is was no other course and there wouldn`t have been other choices when Hitler would have been in charge. He had promised to restore Germany`s pride and that he did by casting aside the Versailles peace treaty, creating greater germany and ultimately beating France.

But the matter of war is arguable, but fact is that human beings have the ability to be violent when all other means fail them or when there are no other choices left. So I think war is not necessary, but more like inevitable in some situations when people wont stop trying to achieve what they want etc.

it depends on who the enemy is and what your fighting for...the problem with warss now is there not conventional..your usuall fighting small movemnets or terrorist cells which not only fight in the shadows but the also use social weapons in them selfs...as were if were lets say the united states vs. japa. once the united states kicks there ass its over and done with we suppress the enemy until they bend to our will..

Yes fighting for what you believe in is a good thing, but there in lies the problems. We all disagree about something, and war results when people of disagreeing views can't resolve their differences peacefully.

I think that some wars are worth the fight. I know first hand what the war is about and all the grewsome detials. My brother fought in the operation Iraqi freedom. He came back with a better understanding but it still scarred me. I'm really proud of him for serving in the army. Also I have a cousin in North Korea serving in the army too. He also used to be someone looking for an identity now since he is in there he is changed and understands the world better and the people in it. I love them so much and I wish them in god's grace to be safe. God bless America -Sakura-

Some wars must be fought, self defense mostly. War for imperialism, war for absolutely nothing or war for a popularity boost is despicable. I don't agree with the "war" in Iraq, I think it's dumb and we shouldn't be there. We may be unable to pull out now that we are in, but we should have never went. I have the same opinion for naive "save the world" ideas that we get. I really think if America was to fall like the Roman empire it wouldn't because we tried to rule to much, it's because we thought we were somehow better than everyone else and set out on a mission to save the inferior countries from their non-democratic ways......f*!@ America.



Edit: There's an automatic language editor? Gay.....Anyway I also think the "fighting for peace is like screwing for virginity" line, while funny and admittedly fitting, is naive. There is always going to be good and evil. Therefore to maintain peace you are sometimes called to fight for it.

Am I the only one who finds it strange that some countries say they're
"fighting for peace" when they're the ones who started the war?

Tho' I say so myself, I have no problem with war itself, but it's the people who decide whether or not the people of the country should go and die for that cause that kind of annoy me.
It's not like they're going to war themselves.

But I don't really have a opinion.....so decide for yourselves

War is a solution for these problems: 1) How to kill a .... load of people.
2) How to inflict poverty upon the masses of a country or region.
3) How to reduce the usefulness of diplomacy to zero.
4) How to be loved by gods.
5) How to brainwash people and erase history.
6) How to terrorize people.
7) How to gain brutal independence.
8) How to inspire the weak minded.
9) How to make a place look like hell.
10) How to make a revolution bathed in the blood of the people who wanted a change and not death.
11) How to make some parents lose their children and some children to lose their parents for a couse they did not directly choose to fight for.
12) How to fill some pages in history books.
13) How to make philosopher's stones ).
15) Where can rape and pillage be all ok.
16) How to extend my territory.
17) How is my god/argument/penis bigger/better than others.
18) Where to make illegal medical and military experiments.
19) What is the opposite of peace.

There will always be war when people like extremists and terrorists run rampant around the world.

War is a necessary evil that should not be abused but should be utilized when a people is subjected to death and risk of death by others who wish such upon them with malicious intent.

One mans terrorist is another mans hero.
