Nepharski
Think the only foreign films I've ever seen are Hero, KungFu Hustle and Triplets of Belleville.
Tombow
Ummm... I'm assuming, by foreign films, that's meaning non-U.S. films... Right?? unsure.gif

Nepharski
I think anything outside of English language films are counted under "Foreign." Sure, that sounds really big-headed, but the truth is that English cinima has a strong enough grasp on the market to set a standard on these things.
Chiyo
Independant film maybe, but I don't think 'foreign' film is quite the term to use, I have seen many far eastern films but I'd just chat about those in the other film sections as many other people have faved them too.
asunder
Amelie
Kung Fu Hustle
Shaolin Soccer
A small amount of HK cinema that joanne45 has already mentioned.
Leon/The Professional
Life is beautiful
My Sassy Girl
anything by Akira Kurosawa
Popogeejo
I live n the UK so most films count as Foreign...
mei_tenshi
Infernal Affairs - I liked the entire trilogy, but the first one is the best, I think.
Amelie
Daddy Long Legs - the Korean version
Il Mare
Swing Girls

There're a bunch of other Hong Kong-produced movies that I like, but I don't remember the English titles for them, so...I'll just leave it at that.

*Oldboy
*A Tale of Two Sisters
Zatoichi the Blind Swordsman
The Sea is Watching
Ju-On
Another Heaven
*The Eye 2
*Ichi the Killer
*Infection
Premonition
I like horror movies more than the average person, so those with an asterisk are scarier and/or gorier than the others on the list.
phoenix dying
Like wise i have seen many and i have liked many. But as of the moment, i'm currently too lazy to list them. Perhaps i will in the near future...

...i've seen this one film in high school. We watched it in our film and litutrure class, when we did our 'unit' on human suffering. Its called La Vita è bella (life is beautiful). It in italian, we watched it in italian. And from what i heard you don't want to hear this thing in anything else but italian. But it was a very compeling movie. "An unforgettable fable that proves love, family and imagination conquer all." as IMDB quotes it. It deals with the holocaust so you know, nazi.

The ending is so... sad.gif
Zarpia
mmm, Foreign to me will be...non-Spanish ones...so they are a lot XD
