<Edited and added "Theme Song" to the thread title, and changed from "Best" to "Favorite" to go along with the other "Favorite Theme" thread. 03/05/07 ~Tombow>

Official Opening and Ending Themes: (ETA: 03/02/07 by Tombow)
(Differs in U.S from the list below.. On Cartoon Network in the U.S., and on YTV's Bionix, "Ready Steady Go" and "Rewrite" were the only openings played, because of, as I heard, deals with L'Arc~en~Ciel and Asian Kung-Fu Generation to promote their songs.
However, the DVD released from FUNimation included all openings in their original places.)

FMA Opening Themes:
#1: "Melissa" by Porno Graffitti (eps 2-13)
#2: "Ready Steady Go" by L'Arc-en-Ciel (eps 14-25)
#3: "Undo" by Cool Joke (eps 26-41)
#4: "Rewrite" by ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION (eps 42-51)

FMA Ending Themes:
#1: "Melissa" by Porno Graffiti (ep 1)
#2: "Kesenai Tsumi (The Unerasable Sin)" by Nana Kitade (eps 2-13)
#3: "Tobira no Mukou e (To the Other Side of Door)" by YeLLOW Generation (eps 14-24)
#4: "Motherland" by Crystal Kay (eps 26-41)
#5: "I Will" by Sowelu (eps 42-50)

Excido
Kesenai Tsumi rules. lol Al in the dump.
silh0uette
My vote goes to 'Tobira no Mukou He', because of the lyrics. In second would be 'I Will' (the video was just awesome, in my opinion); third would be 'Kesenai Tsumi'; and I don't think a lot of people like 'Motherland' that much. :P

2nd ending rocks then 1st and 3rd tied. The 4th ending had good music but the animation kinda gave you that "they are giving up' feeliing.

Best Music: Tobira No Mukou E hands down

Best Video: I Will, I like the emphasis on the "final battles" with the homunculous

Worst Music/Video: Motherland as a song isn't bad.. it just isn't as good as the rest. As for the video, pure fan-service..
Spectrum Alchemist
Is torn between Kensenai Tsumi and TNME arrrrg!!! i suppose i'll go for the former, just because it has a cooler video...even though that has nothing to do with the music....
Ailuro
I voted for Tobira no Mukou e, yet I feel that Kesenai Tsumi made it sound a bit happier, so that comes in at a close second.
Uirumusu
kesenai tsumi and I will are my favorite endings, kesenai tsumi's better though
konic vince
Companion to "Your Favorite FMA OP" the poll should be pretty self explanatory...
xrninja
kesenai tsumi beats all, with motherland and tobira no mukou he close behind. happy.gif
white dragon knight
tobira no mukou he is the best ending, after that comes kesenai tsumi, the other two are far behind them.
MasterVash
I disagree happy.gif
I simply love I Will and the Ending is simply beautiful to see!
After that comes Tobira no Mukou he & Kasenai Tsumi
Keep it real
Riza Babe
Yellow Generation!! biggrin.gif
Ohkami
I love Kesenai Tsumi. The others come close behind, but I'll always like Kesenai the best.
Kitoky
I say I Will by Sowelu followed closely by Kesenai Tsumi and Motherland.
nekodesu
Tobira no mukoh he smile.gif
Kitoky
Wow - alot of people sure like Tobira no Mukou e O.o
Ailuro
Kesenai Tsumi = Tobira no Mukou e > My Will > Motherland.
Chiyo
Tobira no Mukoh he because I love the pictures that accompany the song. But the first ending credits are just as good...
konic vince
they're all good songs, actually, but it's just that Motherland and I Will are a little hard to get used to...I just listened to the full versions on the single cds, and I appreciate them a lot more
Quistis88
I have trouble choosing between Kesenai Tsumi and Tobira no Mukou e. I chose the latter in the end because of the instrumentals that I loved the first time I heard it.
AA battery
Tobira no Mukou e > Kesenai Tsumi >>> I Will >>>>>>> Motherland

I love Tobira for its
1) animation! It just suits the kyoudai well.
2) Lyrics! Suits the series well too (same goes for kesenai tsumi)
3) I like angst better... so I chose Tobira over Kesenai tsumi ^^

I too love the instrumentals in it, especially because I play the violin biggrin.gif

aww, no one's voting for motherland! i thought it was a pretty good song, but it's only my second favorite.
konic vince
I've tried to appreciate Motherland more...it's kinda tough to swallow since I'm not particularly fond of that genre of music, but all in all I'd have to say it was a good song...
Quistis88
Both Best/Favorite FMA ED song polls merged.
AA battery
Tobira no Mukou e! Then it's Kesenai Tsumi!
Chiyo
No votes for Motherland hey?. Its a nice enough song but I don't think it's a fave.
animefan101
I voted Tobira.
Kyo_Umerio
no one likes Motherland?
Yukina_Raven
I love 'Unerasable Sin'! But the imagry for the second ending ('To The Other Side of the Door') gives me shivers. It was just so symbolic. *Nodnod*
Kinbari-chan
I haven't heard the 4th opening song yet, but out of the first 3 I like Kesenai Tsumi the best. Tobira is good too...I just like the beat to Kesenai Tsumi better.

*VOTE : I Will* >_<
Kitty Cat
I cant choose from Tobira No Mukou E or Kesanai Tsumi but i choose Tobira No Mukou E
Defade
I like both the Kesenai Tsumi original and special version best!( the one after episode 7, where some images get replaced with Nina and Alexander, and some other changes)
~FMAgurl~
Kesenai Tsumi my favorite ending. Absolutely NO ONE likes Motherland?
It's not my fave but I still like it....don't know why.
Hagane no Renzy
Actually, I'm very sad that Motherland gets nothing, for I love that song with my heart and soul (actually I'm listening to it right now! smile.gif ) But it's beaten by Tobira No Mukou E by 1 point! Honestly by 1!! Then, I Will is close behind and...eh, I really do hate Kesenai Tsumi...I tried to get used to it but I just can't. Blech.
jazznjoz
I love them all biggrin.gif took me awhile for motherland but I still love 'em.
*closing eyes and voting*
I picked Tobira No Mukou E, I especially love how it starts off, gets me all giddy ^.^.
o.O whoa song just came on, hehehehe kinda freaky ^ ^;;
Kaiko
'I Will' is my favorite. ^^
Electrastar
-Kasenai Tsumi- with -I Will- as a close second.
Kasenai Tsumi just describes the Elric brothers so well and love the lyrics and the beat of this ending. It's rare to see an upbeat ending in anime and it's nice once in awhile. I will is a beatiful ballad and the first time I saw the ending credits with this song, I was moved, mostly because the last "dead" person that they show is Hughes.... sad.gif I miss that character...

Wow...no votes for Motherland? The ending sequence I'll admit is pure fan-service, but the song itself and the lyrics are absolultely lovely. I don't like that genre of music, but this particular song, I just adore. So in other words, Motherland is definately my favorite, followed by Tobira no Mokou E, Kasenai Tsumi and then I Will. ^^
