My friend, you have made on of the most common mistakes in Oekaki usage. Over-blurring. I admit the temptation to overuse this nifty tool is overwhelming, but to make a good piece of artwork, you need to control it. Less is more as the saying goes. Use the blur tool AFTER you've put the colors in. A little practice will go a long way. You've got talent, all you need to do is hone it.
