Interested in alchemy before discovering FMA, and had everything she knew about it screwed up by the aforementioned show. Is one of the 5 people on this board who loved CoS - the fact that she saw it before watching the end of the series bumped up the randomness factor exponentially. Thinks Mei Chan is the most redundant character possible but still loves to ship her with Al. Likes Al more than Ed. Likes books everyone thinks are crap. Started a degree in Mandarin under the false impression that she was good at languages, or that Mandarin is indeed a language (it is in fact a an alien army of eldrith microorganisms that was solely responsible for the practice of human sacrifice in ancient China). Should be banned from all charity shops in the English-speaking world.
FMA's entry on TV Tropes' Better Than It Sounds page:
Military specialist searches for a magic rock recipe to get his brother out of a can. In one version of the story, the rock is their father, in the other version the rock is us. Or: Children see a Thing Man Was Not Meant To Know, run around country looking for another one.
