Thanks a lot once again, Tombow!

Page Twenty-Four:

Comment by Arakawa-sensei: "Searching for ultra cool 'nigirippe' pose."

Captions: Al: "ZOMG!!", Ed: "Nigirippe".

( laugh.gif laugh.gif Note: "Nigirippe" is...にぎりっぺ[にぎりっ屁] 手で包み込んだオナラ, 世界で最強最悪の化学兵器。自分でやるのは楽しいが、他人にやられるとすごく悔しい
...catching your fart in your palm, then thrust it to someone. Fun to do to someone. But, quite irritating if someone does it to you. XDDDD
I believe Arakawa-sensei is jokingly calling Ed's pose as "nigirripe" pose. biggrin.gif )

Oh! LOL! I certainly didn't know jack about this "nigirippe" thing. Everyday we learn sth new, I guess. happy.gif

As for Al's caption, tho', "zapaaan!", I'd say it's the sound of the sea hitting against the rocks behind him. Doesn't look like "ZOMG". Or am I missing sth? happy.gifU

^^ I totally agree!! I did not notice the ocearn wave before, but it sure looks that way!!

And, now that I take a close look at it, Al is wearing not just any loincloth, but Sumo wrestler's ornate loincloth, and, furthermore, Al is imitating Sumo wrestler's traditional pose, too!!
That's sort of an imitation of traditional looking Sumo promo pic, usually having sun rising from the ocean, too, with Sumo wrestler having that pose!!

So much stuff packed in such a small Al sketch!! And, I almost missed it!!
Thanks bunch for catching it!! Hugs!! happy.gif

I realise from looking at these sketches that Edward takes after his father while Al has his Mother's face. Anyone concur?

Comment by Arakawa-sensei: "Red **mine has very handy abilities, but it's temperamental and does not follow humans."

(Note: Can't read letters... I'm guessing Arakawa-sensei is talking about some type of dog??)

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Just noticed this one.... How come I missed it... >.<

She's talking about the Red Pikmin, from this GameCube game by Nintendo (from Shigeru Miyamoto, the creator of Mario, Zelda... himself).

If you see, there's a little sketch of Gluttony, Ed and Al with a leaf on their heads... they are Pikmin versions... XD

Not like I know Japanese, but it reads like some kind of dangerous chemical weapon. XD

My avatar depicts the fate of a little alligator which decided to eat too much apple. In case you don't know.

And I'll put some other banner up when I feel like it. Until then, be content to stare at this measly little paragraph.

The one showing Ed from 11 to 88 gave me a good giggle. So, Ed lives to be 88? Kind of makes you think.... Maybe he really IS going to survive the manga! laugh.gif

What I found interesting is that Ed on page 28 is shown to have (what appears to be) four normal, fleshy, non-automail'ed limbs.

Goodbye, Fullmetal Alchemist. Thanks for the memories.

-the manga, characters, story lines, the ending, the Brotherhood series, the first anime and the movie and all things related to it, are the only things that I will always love like how I love my own life.-

@shanryelric - FYI, (just in case you might not know this yet ^^).... On our board, in general, I think posting on all caps is considered as SHOUTING and considered as rude, and I think many posters on our board tend to ENTIRELY IGNORE the post when someone makes a post with ALL CAPS because it is rather cumbersome to decipher the content of such post (...and, I think this may explain that no one has replied to your post for over a month. ^^) Hence, I think, while posting on our board, if you'd like your post to be actually read by others, it is probably a better idea to limit the use of "ALL CAPS" to a sporadic use, for some spots only, where you'd like to add some emphasis within your post. ^^
Oh, and by the way, I edited parts of your post. In the future, please watch your language little more carefully. smile.gif

And, going back to your original "question/request".... My guess on why we can no longer open these pics is because these pics were originally posted in 2006, and since then, I'm guessing, that probably these pics have been removed or relocated, etc, by the album holder, and therefore the images are no longer there.

And, as for the request to "repair" this condition, the original poster of those pics has not been on our board since June of lasts year, and hence, regrettably, there may be only a remote chance that these links would be restored to the working conditions again. ..sorry. sad.gif

But, let's hope that the original poster would show up again on our board sometime, and then read your post (and NOT to ignore the content,) then answer your request and kindly take her efforts to locate these pics (if the files still exist elsewhere) and restore these links for us. smile.gif
