I thought there were supposed to be three bad guys in Spiderman 3.
Vemon, Lizardman and some other dude we'll call Tiny Tim(read: I can't recall the name.)

I'm pretty sure that Venom's not going to be an actual villain in Spiderman 3 though, just Peter's going to have the Venom suit at some point. They have a lot of Spiderman movies planned so I don't see why they'd have a need to put more than one bad guy in a movie anyway.

I think its all about Venom , 90% of the trailer shows spiderman in the black costume.
He has venom on him all time , i think the other bad guys are going to take a side seat.

Even the description in the trailer seems that Venom is the main bad guy !

It would add a new dynamic.

LEARN YOUR SPIDEY TRIVIA! THAT'S THE SYMBIOTE!

The symbiote is what makes Eddie Brock into Venom. However, before it attached itself to Eddie, it was attached to Peter and thus turned him into "Black Spidey". It tried to take him over however, and Spidey defeated and got rid of it. However it then attached itself to Eddie and thus created Venom.

So, in order for Venom to be a villian in the fourth movie, the symbiote must first be a part of the plot in the third.

They are also setting it up in the third movie for Peter and Eddie's relationship; the two are going to put up as rivals. This will most likely lead to the ruin of Eddie's career in the third movie, once again setting everything up for the fourth.

For more info on Venom, we have handy dandy Wikipedia 8D

Most likely, they'll go with the cartoon series story about the symbiote; that it came to Earth on Jameson's son's spaceship (Jameson is the guy in charge of the Daily Bugle, for those who do not know his name. His son was the man Mary Jane was going to marry in the 2nd movie) when he came back from...shit, was it the moon he went to? >.> Been too long since I watched the cartoon. Either way, if I'm not mistaken in the 2nd movie they said he was going to go into space soon...

I can only hope that Venom's buddy Carnage will get a turn...

I wouldn't be surprised. When I heard about Lizardman, Vemon and other dude it was only a month or so after the second film came out.

Wiki seems to think three bad guys though.. biggrin.gif
At least I got the amount right. (If wiki is right anyway)

Let's remember tho, not everything on wiki is true. Some of its just opinion. ;P

Now Sandman is one of those Spidey villains I often forget entirely about. O_o Because he's not that memorable for me. In fact when I read the name I went "Who? ......oh....wait....sand guy? I think I remember..." Plus I think there was only one time I saw him on the cartoon >.>

See, I was never a reader of the comics, but watching the cartoon on saturday was a ritual between me and my brother and I still remember tons of shit from it. XP

It makes sense tho to put Sandman in along side Green Goblin. The Green Goblin has already shown up once. Ya gotta give the viewers something new.

I think (or rather I hope) Venom will be saved for number 4. I rather him not show up just yet. He deserves a whole movie to himself. (with maybe a scene or two alluding to Carnage's existance or something...maybe) I think the symbiote will be enough...but if they're shoving him in there just to make some extra moolah and make fans squeal (or do a "zOMG 3 VILLAISN AND IT'S SPIDERMAN 3!!!111!!" thing) well....I may not squeal. >>

....

Okay I will. ><

But I will be unhappy about it D:

I just really hope they don't shove too much into this movie. Would be horrible to ruin a so far successful string of movies by putting too much into the new one.

Lizardman I would love to see in one of the movies. His story is one of my favorites.

AND MYSTERIO!!!! Just because he wears a bowl on his head :'D

edit:
*read more of wiki*
QUOTE
Topher Grace, who was initially cast in an unidentified role in May 2005,[27]plays Venom, a character whose perceived "lack of humanity" had been criticized by Sam Raimi.[28] Marvel Studios chairman and CEO Avi Arad convinced Raimi to include Venom, telling the director that Venom had a strong fan base. The director grew to appreciate the result of the character, based on Alvin Sargent's script treatment and the performance of Grace,[29] who gained 20 pounds of muscle for the role.[30] At Comic-Con 2006, the film's version of the character was described as being based on "an amalgamation of Venom stories". Eddie Brock, Junior, the human part of Venom, would serve as a mirror to Peter Parker. Both characters had similar employment and romantic interests, though Brock differed from Parker in having a "terrible childhood".[28]

....................shit. Nvm all I just said.

I know about the bad guys as well as you do.

SYMBIOTE, comes from the space shuttle which was sent to the moon, .......
I've seen the animated series too.
So i know of it,

I saw the trailer and i happen to have it, and there is no Goblin in it,
the 2nd movie ended with the harry finding the suit and glider but thats not going to continue , though the look that harry has is kinda evil and my be he is after peter , but there is no goblin !.

Ok there is Goblin in it too.
So, the list of bad guyz goes like : Venom , Goblin , Sandman

The movies dont have the same story as the animated series !

Alien jets are one thing, (fits with th Decepticon theme of planes), but no Soundwave? WTF?
