Stay bundled up, drink ginger or licorice root tea and watch tv/play video games. Or stay in bed depending on how sick I am.

The same things I do when I'm not sick. No, I'm not kidding. Unless I broke a limb or something, I usually just keep on going. It takes a really high fever to keep me bed-bound and whatnot.

I'm a sissy when I get sick, I feel drained and don't feel like doing much of anything and am spacy as all get out.

How I envy people like Quistis that can keep going despite illness.

Most of the time, it's pretty forced. tongue.gif I'm just too stubborn and proud to let something like illness get the best of me. Then again, I only get really sick about once or twice a year.

Little things like colds and flus really dont stop me, but if i get really ill, like the time i got bronchitis, i have a bad habit of sleeping for like 14 hours.

Then ill do the whole "ghost" routine (when im at home). Ill grab a blanket and walk around with it around the house, hunker down in the lazyboy and eat lots of soup, and a nice warm drink (tea, hot chocolate, coffee), and just sit there watching movies and tv with my laptop lol.

Ironically though, i find that when i'm really sick, i get to enjoy life more tongue.gif I usually like to catch the sunrise, enjoy my backyard.

But i've only gotten really sick once tongue.gif the rest i usually pre-emptively beat it out of my system. Ie, if i start to get a sore throat or a cough ill just get some tylenol cold and flu and hit it when its weak and it usually doesnt bother me much hehe.

When I truly get sick, which happens rarely, I take a nap for a few hours. Then I grab a blanket and set up some video games in my room so I can stay in bed while playing. tongue.gif

mei finishes off whatever she needs to do (homework, chores, etc.) and sleeps for a bit before commencing some feel-good activity, like reading, writing, or watching anime. If it's really bad, she'd wrap up in some blankets, accompanied by her favorite Spanish-speaking imitation-Pooh-bear named Bannie, and lay on the living room couch (most comfortable couch in the house) watching regular TV to sap whatever energy she has left. When said sapping is accomplished, nap-time comes again.

Hm. Now that mei's in college (and living-room-couchless), mei wonders what she will do. *hopes she doesn't get sick while at school*

I stay lazy and take plenty of rest, because when I try to fight off I usually making it worse and end up being terribly sick.
I use that time to catch up with reading my favorite books.

That's what mei did in high school, anyhow...

...to an extent. tongue.gif

Mei also watches videotapes of Chinese TV "dramas." It's a brain-numbing, but also a feel-good activity.

lols...still sick T_T

but i've been doing the tea thing and i finally got to get me tons of ramen from the supermarket tongue.gif (cures me better than that campbell crap LoL)

you guys are so lucky...i was born without white blood cells so when i get sick (which is AT LEAST 5 times a year) its pretty MAJOR dry.gif oh well

on the bright side staying home gives me a chance to catch on all my missing assignments and projects (yep...being sick makes me more worried about my grades than usual...lols, i'm such a nerd laugh.gif)
