^ What kind of watch are you looking for?

Anyways, I finally decided to take Roy out of the box and put him on my shelf at work. Here's a pic with my PPP figure:

Oh, and for those wondering where the duck clock's from, it's a GA-KO from Metal Gear Solid 4...

The GAKO is just so cool! Got one of my own as a collector's item, so haven't opened it.
BTW, I'm looking for Edward Elrik's pocket watch, the one where "Don't forget..." is engraved inside.

Dunno about the watch, as most of the watches that I've seen are usually on ebay, Amazon, or cosplay websites.

As for GA-KO, he's just too awesome to keep in the box and my alarm is set for when my work day is over (5pm). The alarm that goes off is exactly as it is in the game.

EDIT:

Just arrived...

@Shadow tH - I got your PM about my opinion on that pocket watch on ebay. ... unfortunately, I've never bought FMA pocket watch on ebay, hence I don't think I'm the best person to give you much advice on this. Sorry... But, it looks like that this seller has 100% feedback rate, and that's one good sign, I guess? Besides checking the feedback comments on ebay on the seller, my general advise is to read the ad carefully. In this case, you understand that the smaller hand is there just for the decoration and not functional, right? (As it's clearly stated so on the ad.) And the ad also states that you can not have the chain coming in contact with the watch, else the watch may get damaged. (that's also clearly stated in the ad.) Otherwise, from the picture it looks like a fairly good replica of Ed's watch, and the price seems to be in the reasonable range. Also, the seller seems to have already sold some of this particular item, and if you are an ebay member, you might be able to contact other ebay members who bought this particular watch from this particular seller, and ask them how they like theirs? And, should you decide to buy it, I advise you to use Credit Card or Paypal so that if anything goes wrong you have some recourse. That's all the general advise I can think of so far, although, you probably know these already. ^^ Hopefully, other members who'd bought Ed's watch can give you much better advise. smile.gif

OT: By the way, congratulations for making your first post, and glad you like our site and the forum! biggrin.gif

Thank you very much for your advices and loyalty smile.gif I saw the seller's feedback rate, and I've examined his description.

By the way, I've found this video on YouTube

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy9SyZAU5qM...639&index=5

There are 3 "official" types of pocket watch on eBay (2 of them have real second hand), dunno which of this 2 types are on video...

I wonder if there exist another official types...

I bought the pocket watch and it fell apart fairly quickly, if thats of any help, though mine was not that version you highlighted. Doesn't matter who you buy it off they are all made by the same company so just aim for best price and an eBay shop rather than a seller.

Hey guys!

Don't think these have been posted yet. Found a bunch of FMA "blind boxes" at a Japanese shopping center here in NJ. Only picked up one figure; wish I had gotten more.

Here's some of the other figures on the back of the box:

Nice! I actually picked one up myself a few weeks ago - just forgot to post. So here's mine (and yes, I picked it out completely blind):

Goodbye, Fullmetal Alchemist. Thanks for the memories.

-the manga, characters, story lines, the ending, the Brotherhood series, the first anime and the movie and all things related to it, are the only things that I will always love like how I love my own life.-
