Haha, I'm the first Buddhist. Acutally, I really don't like the religion, so I'm more of the 'a little religious' side.

Even though I am Catholic I don't believe everything the Church says for instance I think it's okay to be gay and also to use artificial birth control.

But most of the other stuff I pretty much like.

I'm really not all that religious. I'm suppose to be Nazerene but I haven't gone to church in over 8 years.
I also agree with Bacon on the whole 'religion can be broken down' thing.

I don't know really too much about the new Pope, but I'll give him a chance. I mean, I don't really pay attention to the Popes too much.^^;;; Kinda like I don't pay attention to politicians. They're just....there.....XD

I do wish he'd change his stance on gay marriage. It'd be wonderful if one of the branches of Christianity would support it.

I also wish the catholic church would stop going to third world countries and telling people to stop using birth control so that these poor people end up with more mouths they can't feed.

Always one of my biggest peeves with the pope.

The Catholic Church reminds me of big tobacco in the 1950s... incredibly wealthy old men who don't realize just how much harm they're doing... but with more pedophilia...

I don't get what their problem with birth control is. I mean, there is nothing in the Bible that says it's wrong to prevent pregnancy, or that everyone should have a lot of children........ huh.gif

Does the pope have power anymore?
I mean, does he make big decisions for the church?
