Most definatly manga. The art work is so much easier to appreciate, and generally speaking the plotline is muc hmore detailed and complex, and, as said before, the original almost always tops all.

Manga usually delves deeper into the story but I do love to see the scenes in action and have voices.

It kinda depends, but I like anime a little more. Like, Naruto,HAS SO MANY FILLERS!!! GRR!! When will they be over!?!? But in the manga they are really far into it. And in the anime, they leave alot of is stuff out. But for Fullmetal Alchemist, I Love both of them. Anime's good, and so is Manga. Its a hard decision.

With Fullmetal Alchemist, I blew off the manga because I thought the anime was WAY better. And for awhile, it was...But now that Fullmetal Alchemist is over, and I've watched the movie...I LOVE the manga.
Usually manga appeals to me more.
Yush, the anime is pretty, but the manga , as everyone else has said, goes way deeper than the anime.
And some manga are great without being anime. Sometimes, you don't want them to become an anime, because it would tarnish the beauty and the original artwork that makes the manga so awesome ^^
And the same goes for some anime being better than the manga.
It really varies, but I think I like manga a little bit better ^^;;;

I'll say.. um, it evens out.

Anime and manga varies on how much the tone and mood goes. Like for some: Yu Yu Hakusho the anime is definitely way more interesting that the manga version. So that's to say, there are some anime out there that are more interesting than manga while there are some manga out there that is much more favorable than anime.

But then again, for manga, you read it so you have develope your own sense of perspectiveness.

Anime is just filled with effects and background sounds so you don't really have to picture anything. Although sometimes the dubbed voices are scary.

i like manga better cause i have lost my cable for about 7 years now....my mom won't let me have it...sniff..........snifff....cryy........tears..falling...sniff.

For me it's always the manga. The plot is usually more interesting and I don't even want to mention the irritating fillers in anime.dry.gif

But then again, anime's in nice colours and the japanese voice actors är really great.^^ Also the music is often very good.

Unfortunately, I have to stick with the terrible swedish voice actors where I live. Really, they're so bad they could make anyone vomit. And the only anime we have here in Sweden are Digimon, Pokémon, Sailor Moon, Yu-gi-oh!, Transformers and Beyblade. It's horrible. They use the same voice actors for every single one of these series, and believe me; they suck (excuse me).
That's apparently another reason that made me stick to manga. XD Even if it's a little odd.

I like watching anime, but manga delves deeper into the story than anime can. Manga can also be carried around and read at any time. Anime has its benefits, but manga makes the series more and more interesting.

I believe that it is a matter of personal preferance, but I usually prefer the manga series over the anime. With manga I find that the plots are generally more in-depth and the characters are more developed. I love the original artwork of the authors/illustrators. Manga forces me to use my imagination and recreate the world and the characters whereas the anime usually brings that world to life. However there are times when the anime series in preferable above the anime for obvious reasons. I love the anime Escaflowne, but realised that the manga was nowhere near the world that the anime brought to life. Somtimes, the manga and the anime differ completely and I really enjoy seeing the differences.

I think it depends on the series.

FullMetal Alchemist, for example, I perfer the anime. The music is BEAUTIFUL, voice acting is perfection (in my eyes), and I don't truthfully like the art of the manga as much as I do other series.

Fruits Basket, the anime can't compare. The anime leaves over half the story out, has bad voice acting, the music isn't too great, and everything's really slow, as if it's trying to be panel after panel, exactly like the manga.

Well, I think that it also depends on the series but it also sides with one's own opinion.

Like for some cases, the drawing is better in the anime than the manga and that particular person likes how the character looks, but that's not the only factor that has to be considered. But I personally like the anime better because it's...actually i don't know why I like the series better blink.gif . But for some animes i prefer the manga. biggrin.gif

Usually I would say anime is better but in FMA cases the seiries goes on longer and there are more things that go on such as LING!!! (haha Ling rules all except for Ed!) and you cant take anime on the road and sucky family gatherings... unless you have a portable DVD player...but I dont. so manga tends to rule all

ArctheLad13 you have a funny avatar!!! XDDD
