The Hills Have Eyes was kinda okay, but I didn't really understand it that much... Oh, and a remake of a game that was pretty good is Resident Evil 1 for the Gamecube, and Conker... Though RE remake harder to figure out then the old one >_<

Well, in the case of Charlie and The Chocolate Factory I do think it was better then Willy Wonka, but as Ronaldo Rodregez stated it wasn't trying to be a remake. It was a better adaptation of the book.
I haven't seen it, not sure they are going to do it...but I dread the U.S remake of Battle Royal.

Some remakes are needed for movies. Others aren't. Like King Kong for instance. I liked to see a smoother version compared to the metal Kong they used in the original version in 1933, but they really didn't have to remake it.

I agree. That's one of the only few examples I can think of as good remakes. I just watched one of old Zatoich series movies tonight. The other night I watched the newer remake by Takeshi. It was Bleh!! Such a lightweight!!
