@ShiningAlchemist - Ah yes, glad you found the FAQ page for "how to add sig pic" post!
(Yap, that's the one I told you on PM..) You said you got the URL from Imageshack, right??
Which URL did you use?? Did you use the proper URL at the bottom, like this??
Attached File  index.jpg ( 111.13K ) Number of downloads: 25

Your URL looks like you chose the wrong URL on the list. Is this what happened?? unsure.gif

2 things were wrong. First this board supports "[ img ]" tags not "[ image ]" tags
next this board doesn't support dynamic img tags (the ones with php? in the url)

you can use the following code to display your pic in your signature:
CODE

^Copy and paste that where you want the image to be.

@Zarpia - Because ShiningAlchemist initially contacted me by PM and I referred him/her here to get the answer. Hence I'm already partly involved in this case, and I'm glad he/she got the solution, and this case, which started by his/her PM to me, is being solved.

Besides, from what I understand, this part of the forum holds slightly diefferent standard from regular "discussion" part of the forums, and stuff such as closing of threads, duplicate threads, and so on are slightly differently applied.
That's why, IMO, your continuous spam posts you make after Quistis changes someone's board id such as this on Board Id change thread in this forum

Your name has now been changed. I haven't said that in a while. laugh.gif
And I haven't laughed at that in a while. laugh.gif
as well as some other spam posts by others are also being tolerated, I think.
But if you like more strict control of spam posts in this forum, maybe we will consider that. smile.gif

Zarpia has a point. No need to become defensive and drudge up her own spam posts.

Tombow's second post didn't contribute anything. If the solution to a question was given, then there's no need to proceed/comment further unless there's some further clarification required.

Ah! Ok, Thank you everyone! (hopes no one yells at me for this post..lol) happy.gif

>"< yay! ok, I think I got it now, I'm gonna mess around with it for awhile. happy.gif

wow I feel so happy!

EDIT:
Um, ok question. How, if it's possible, do you resize an image to put on a signature? I had my signature edited because it was "way too big". But it really wasn't (I don't think..) there was just a super big blank box under it for some reason. So to fix that, do I need to resize the picture or something?

my signature had this picture in it:Attached File  older_elrics.jpg ( 47.87K ) Number of downloads: 32

The only way to get rid of the white box is by using Adobe Photoshop or MS Paint or any other editting programmes. There's no HTML codes or BB Codes to help you get rid of the white box...

The only way to get rid of the white box is by using Photoshop.

^This post is wrong.

1: Open the pic up in paint and scroll down to the bottom right corner.
2: Hover your mouse on the bottom right corner of the image and it should become a diagonal arrow.
3: Left click when it becomes an arrow and drag the mouse up and to the left and a dotted outline should follow the mouse, this is the area of your image.
4: Drag it until the dotted out line is touching the edges of what you want left and release the mouse.
5: Save it.

It's easier than it looks.
I'll be needlessly kind and do it for you;

Here you go. Just right click and save it.
It should be noted though that it's to big to use as a sig right now. You want to shrink it a bit.

Can't you get rid of white area by "copy & paste"ing with your photo program, (and also resize the pic since it's too big for our sig size) like this??

If you want, you can save this to your computer, then upload to photobucket or some place to get the URL to use for your sig.

Aw. NVMD. Please follow Popo's direction. biggrin.gif

@God of War - I just tried with my own profile, and mine works fine, so... I'm not sure why you're getting that error message. huh.gif
Have you tried using Browse in other feature, like, for Attachment? Does it work? unsure.gif
