I'm not a fan of Yaoi pairings (unless the characters had a chance at being like that in the first place, I just don't like changing their orientation), but I thought I'd mention that the Stephen Colbert thing made me twitch. >-o

I sometimes feel like that Funderful but if they are hot... Not stephen even I have boundries. On yaoi I'm with Summoner Colette, ToS has the most potential for yaoi.

All right here are some Ling x Ed pics, well not really, but a few pages from a doujinshi a friend was kind enough to give me, but I translated it horribly, don't worry though, I don't think that's what they're really saying....I hope....and if anyone wants more Ling x Ed look in my Ling album here....

Feh.
It may be 'hot', Mustang, but I don't like changing their orientation.
Plus, how can you find it hot?
You're a guy, aren't you? -Raises eyebrow suspiciously-
Ah, well.
So are the mysteries of purberty within a young male.
I don't wish to dwell into it. ><

Anyway, I'll leave it at that.
This is probably the perfect place for and Edwin fan to get pumbled (Manga only tongue.gif).
I wouldn't mind LingxEd, if there was any hint that they were indeed interested.
Yeah, I know that's stupid.
It's a fandom pairing.
But I like the canon ones because they have chemistry, and quite a bit of evidence to back it up with.

Cause there's like, no way that guys actually like guys, right? That's just a myth made up by the yaoi fangirls lololol! rolleyes.gif

Though on that note, I'm a heterosexual female and there's no way to deny that a pairing like Sloth/Lust is hot as hell. So take that as you will. It's not as common for guys to take on such a view, but I've known a few who are 'straight but like shonen ai'.

That's not what I meant.
If he's into guys, that's fine.
Hurrah for him.

Hey, how do we know if, let's say Roy never had a homo thought or two? He never comes out and says "I'M NOT GAY!" He just displays a love of mini-skirts and chicks. That doesn't always translate to not-gay. He can easily be bisexual and like women more.
In fact, I believe the only line out of Roy (in the anime) that can support him not being bi/gay is "What good is admiration from other men."
But it's also possible he could just be using his skirt chasing antics to cover up his homosexuality. Most militaries aren't very fond of homosexuals ya know, so the fact that he is one may ruin his military dreams. It says in the manga that he uses the skirt chasing to draw attention away from his real objectives right? So why can't he also be using it to cover up his sexual orientation? (many gay men in real life do the EXACT same thing, they even go so far as getting married to women and have children. Just go ask my aunt; her previous husband turned out to be gay. O_o)

I'm only using Roy as an example, cause he's a very easy one to use (at least I find). Really, a writer can dig up anything from the series to use as evidence or justification for the pairing they wrote about.
And with conditions like the ones for Roy above, this makes some pairings more interesting and more of a challenge to write. (and I dunno about you, but I love challenges. Nothing cures writer's block better)

Ya just gotta have a more open mind about it. This is fiction, and when it comes to fiction - as my English teacher says - "You can say anything so long as you can back it up [with examples from the story]." Mind you, she says that when we do literature essays but it's still applicable to fanfiction tongue.gif

First off, I'm a female. A straight female. I believe that there is more to Roy than what he shows. There is a bit of a homosexual side to him. And, I am very VERY fond of the Roy X Ed coupling as you can see.

Oh, me, over here! It actually took me a while to get into Loveless, because of the drastic age difference, but it finally one me over. I just read Volume 6 not too long ago. DRAMA!
I'm actually working on cell type art of Zero. I'll give you a glimpse. I'm not done with any of the shading or highlighting, ( I haven't started it yet) and I might change some of the colors around, but it's turning out okay.

That's really good so far! I like! happy.gif (I've only read the first two or three volumes so far, since I've been borrowing them from a friend. But I love it! I'll have to see if she has any more. Or... do you know if there are scans online somewhere? That way I could read more of them sooner.)
