I own all of the ones that have been translated, and I have the artbooks for most of them, too.

Spirited Away and Porco Rosso are my favourites.

Classic!

Grave of the Fireflies, 1988 anime from Studio Ghibli is on tonight... actually, on at the moment on TCM (Turner Classic Movie channel). It's English dubbed. smile.gif
It's very serious and depressing movie, but, if you're interested...

I just rented Howl's Moving Castle from the video store two days ago and watched it with subtitles. I liked it a lot. ^_^

but by forgetting them we realize that they weren't all that important
but, by thinking that, u remember what u have forgotten
and in that instant of remembering what you were trying to remember
you forget about the thing you have forgotten
so before you start to forget just remember
those who truely remembered you won't be forgotten... or not.

Heh, I haven't posted in this forum for months, and this thread in ages. XD

Apparently, you can watch full length, English dub Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Spirited Away, and Howl's Moving Castle on Google video. ohmy.gif

I didn't know that till it was reported on ANIMENewsNetwork a few days ago. ^^

If anyone hasn't watched any of these, (and if you can watch these Google video in your country) I recommend checking it out, since it's free, and commercial free on Google video. smile.gif

Well I can put a mention in too:

For any British Ghibli/Miyazaki fans, Film4 will be showing a couple films next week. On Sunday 29th August they are showing The Cat Returns at 3.20pm. On Wednesday 1st September is Kiki's Delivery Service at 2.40pm.

Well this is off topic of what movies are gonna be playing... but news on some new stuff he's got going on. 2 new movies over the course of 2010 (Sept. 2009 interview)

The Borrower Arrietty
QUOTE
The story takes place in 2010 in Koganei, western Tokyo and like the novel revolves around a group of "tiny people" who are 10 cm tall that live under the floorboards of a typical human household. The story begins when a boy named Sho arrives at the house his mother lived in as a child. When Sho leaves the car, he sees a cat trying to attack something in the bushes. But the cat leaves after being attacked by a crow. Sho goes to see what the cat was trying to attack, to see a borrower named Arrietty. [5] That night Arrietty`s father Pod takes Arrietty above the floorboards to show her how he gets sugar. Pod shows Arrietty the kitchen, behind the walls, and a dollhouse. Before Arreitty and Pod could leave, Arietty notices that Sho is awake, and drops the sugar cube that they got. Sho tells them to not be afraid of him. Pod realised that Sho has seen Arreitty and they will have to move.

There's also rumor of him making a Kaguya-hime (Tale Of The Bamboo Cutter) movie adaptation. I would enjoy that <3
