I don't like the anime, the manga is way better. I really don't like this manga very much, it's so shojo-y when it's really shounen. It's not very interesting, also, I HATE SYAORAN'S PERSONALITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He's gotton all softy and nice, and I REALLY hate it. I really liked Syaoran's bratty personality better. Tsubasa is not that great I think. When I first found out about Tsubasa was really funny. I was at this site of manga scans and there was Tsubasa and other stuff. I thought, mabye I should try some other mangas. So I clicked Tsubasa and saw Sakura. I first thought, hey! That girl looks JUST like Sakura! Then, when Syaoran's suddenly shouted SAKURA, I was like, okayyyyyyyyyy.....that's freaky...

The anime... not so good. I just hate how they look like .Hack...

It's horrible!! I wonder what they'd look like if they were animated by Mad house...

Arghh I wish they did.....

I've seen up to epi 5 right now, and I still agree that the manga is better.
1)They look better!!

They all look funny!!! Especially Yuko-san in the anime!! She's got like the creepest eyes ever!!

Ahhh they scare me!!!
And everyone else... they just look.. funny..

And it drags on FOREVER!! Episode 5 and their still on the 2nd or book...

Well, I have yet to watch the Tsubasa anime, but judging by the reactions of people here and the people on the Tsubasa LJ community, I think it's best if I stay away from it. Very, very far away. ph34r.gif

I found the manga wonderfully interesting- I love their character portrayal, and it makes me wonder sometimes why they didn't switch artists earlier.

some one named Chi that looks just like Chi from Chobits.

Well, if they're reusing characters, it's probably Chii.
Of course, there is that little thing about why Fye never recognized Ashura-ou in the latest chapters despite him telling Chii to watch over King Ashura in his country. Frankly, I'd expect him to react somewhat to the deadlookalike!Ashura.
I advise you to do that.
Lol, well it's not that bad, but I don't like it.
I personally like the manga better.

As I do for every show...

Wow, this thread is OLD. ohmy.gif

Anyways, Tsubasa has gotten quite angsty. I have to admit that the manga is probably better than the anime ever could be, especially after they decided to put fillers in for the last couple episodes of the second season.

But it's still good in both forms. TRC should get more love. Just like Soi Fong. But that's a different story...

^Agree with ya here.
Though to be honest, I don't really like the anime for it. :|
I really love the manga. And each chapter gets more exciting.
Oh god, I can't wait for the Acid Tokyo arc to be translated.
Kamui and Subaru from X/1999 appear! <3
I hope Seishiro comes back, not fair for him to appear and end the series without finshing up the whole 'Vampire story'.

Yes, I agree with the general consensus about the anime. Never got past the 3rd or so episode. But I still have the whole thing somewhere around. Maybe I'll give it a second chance when I'm bored enough.

The manga though... That's a different story. Although my local manga translation company seems to have gone on hiatus. Hope they continue soon!!

I have only been reading the manga and only sticking to the manga. =D The anime doesn't look as interesting. This manga series is exceptionally well done. I like how CLAMP is using their characters from their other series except for
Fye and Kurogane... I think.
.

Yea I think you're right AnimeFantasy! They're just about the only two original characters. Wikipedia has a pretty good article about the Tsubasa characters and which series they originated from. =)

^Indeed they are.
But there's a character in Chobits who sorta resembles Kurogane. xD

This site has a pretty good list and info of all the worlds and characters that appear in TRC.

Thanks for the link, Nekokitty! I'll take a look.

About Kurogane... *shrugs* I have the feeling I've seen him before somewhere. Just can't place my finger on it... Maybe you're right: Chobits.

@Menelvir:No, Kurogane isn't from Chobits, there's just a character that sorta looks like him.
See the guy with the black hair?
He had a name but I forgot it. xD

I got bored with the anime pretty fast, but I also find the manga mildly boring as well. The only reason I keep reading is because I heard of a very interesting twist in the recent chapters released in Japan. ;D Plus Clamp's art is superb as always, but I still gotta say I prefer xxxHolic.

@SMtofu:To tell the truth, I don't like the anime at all. :/
But do stick with the manga, I know volumes 10, 1& 12 were boring but around volume 13 the story picks up again. And it actually gets so bloody and angsty that it puts FMA to shame.
And at the end of vol.14
they get to the acid Tokyo Arc when characters from X/1999 appear. And it leads to finding some shocking things about Syaoran and something happens to Fai.
