I thought well learn what happened to Andragoras after the cliffhanger from the last chapter, but it looks like well have to wait for that.

Narsas seems like an interesting person, I think hes the friend Daryoon was talking about in chapter one.

Really enjoying it so far! And enjoying all the little hints to actual historical places - Selica/Serica is definitely China, and we know they had strong diplomatic connections with the Parthians/Sassanians, that Pars is seemingly based on...

*does quick wiki search* Oh gosh, the similarities with the fall of the Sassanian empire are quite strong:

Which reminds me! The Sassanian family fled to the Tang empire (China) when the empire fell to the Arabs, so I take it we might see China/Xing/Selica at some later point in the series?
