I know what you mean, Bacon.  I hate how school systems differ in curriculum.  I always feel so behind.   sad.gif

but at least we can discuss our aristotle readings and stuff together tongue.gif i used to hate lang, but the philosophy stuff is growing on me....even if i don't really get it. boethius, spinoza, and descartes were pretty good though.

bling, you guys have to take a spelling class? man, we haven't done spelling tests in ages.....i loved those things rolleyes.gif

It might as well be. I speak it much better than I do Russian [my native language], and have been for a much longer time. I started speaking English when I was 7 and use it almost exclusively now. Actually, it's a bit embarassing, but I'd say my Japanese is now better in terms of grammar and writing than my Russian. unsure.gif

ohmy.gif Wo~ow... bloody brilliant, you are...

I grew up speaking 2 languages... English and Tagalog [the main dialect of the Philippines]... at the age of 5, I spoke fluent Spanish, then lost it when we moved to Italy... I learned Japanese on my own, and now I'm taking French... ^^...

I started really learning English when I was about 7, too, Bacon. And apparently, I'm one of the best spellers people know. biggrin.gif Family thinks this doesn't really amount to anything though. sad.gif

Angel, I studied Tagalog once in my Linguistics class. biggrin.gif I see what xrninja means about having something for all of us to talk about. And the Philosophy stuff DOES grow on you.
