but at least we can discuss our aristotle readings and stuff together i used to hate lang, but the philosophy stuff is growing on me....even if i don't really get it. boethius, spinoza, and descartes were pretty good though.

It might as well be. I speak it much better than I do Russian [my native language], and have been for a much longer time. I started speaking English when I was 7 and use it almost exclusively now. Actually, it's a bit embarassing, but I'd say my Japanese is now better in terms of grammar and writing than my Russian.

I grew up speaking 2 languages... English and Tagalog [the main dialect of the Philippines]... at the age of 5, I spoke fluent Spanish, then lost it when we moved to Italy... I learned Japanese on my own, and now I'm taking French... ^^...
