What gets me really annoyed (especially in places like Bebo) is the sort of tAlK thAt GoEs LyK dIs.
When "my" is spelt as "mah" or "mai".
The so-called "I'll love you for eternity" sh*t. Never happens when it's publicised.
When "for" is spelt as "foh" or "faw". WTF?

Some people should learn the wonderful art of English.
Yes, I'm very picky about English.

Just thought this topic should be revived since it has been inactive for 2 years and we have a boat load of new people to get to know! [thought about this topic when i was reading the "have you ever lied" topic on spam central]

Okay,

Lying [Not every lie, just mainly the ones that kids make up to make them sound cooler]
Disorganization [My girlfriend has this problem and it irks me]
Filth [Stuff like dirty dishes anywhere else but in the sink]
Incompetence [Sure we all don't get stuff right away some of the time, but when I have to tell someone how to
do their damn job every day, It down right pisses me off!]

I have many more [MANNNYY MORE]

Those will be revealed, however, as they happen and I think of them.

*my above side note reminded me of one* People who type in ALL caps! I mean sure, its sometimes necessary to convey emotion but Jesus Christ people nobody needs you "Yelling" at them over the internet. Haha

the first fma anime happy.gif *is shot*

XD lulz i hate and complain about everything, my main pet peeves are as follows... radiators, when you buy sweets and they are not evenly disrubuted in flavor and you nearlly allways end up with all the flavours you don't like and then blame it on some higher power that is making it that you never get the flavours you want, hypocryts, my family, when adaptations don't follow the same story as originals, the sound of people chewing, the sound of rustling packaging, this little valve on my bicycle pump, when technology gets better but it gets more stupidly incovinent to use, racism, elitism and hypocracy, people who talk as if they know everything when you know more then them, people who patronize, and i dunno loads of stuff i love to complain XD

I have so many pet peeves, and they're so weird that my family doesn't even call them "pet peeves" anymore, they just say, "Kristen's little crazies."

I hate it when people give smart answers to rhetorical questions. Like, "If all your friends jumped off a bridge, would you?" "Yes, because then all my friends would be dead!" No. I hate that for some reason. Also, I hate it when something is off just by one. Numbers like 11 and 9 and 101. It's just so close! >_<
Also... I hate steam. Like, coming off food. Most of the time when the waitress brings out steaming hot quesidillas people are like, "Oooh, steamy." I wait until it cools off. I have a lot of others, but I could fill a page with all my pet peeves, so.... happy.gif

Many, many things annoy me, far too many to expound upon completely in any post of reasonable length.

A few very curious pet peeves that comes to mind:

The use of the term "knifed"
Faulty logic (
This Wikipedia article is your friend)
Consequentialism

Um...hmm

-When it rains and the back hem of my pants get wet and it creeps up my calf
-People on the bus who don't move to the back when it starts to get crowded
-Slow walkers who don't move to the side for you to pass them
-Inconsiderate people in general
-Passive aggressive behavior
-When I'm wearing gloves and the fingertips are too long and they get in my way
-When the adhesive on tape gets stuck to said long fingertips and you get this wad of tape that's impossible to untangle
-When you're drawing up medicine in a syringe and there are these little air bubbles that just WON'T QUIT and you have to flick the darn thing until your fingers get sore and then you end up having to get a new syringe and start all over >.< (lol that one's kind of nerdy)

^^''' it seems like I have a lot...

- The kids in my English class. Conformists, I mean. A great explanation is this one time when we were reading this short story and my english teacher asked a question about conformity to one of the girls, saying, "if everyone else wore bright yellow, poka dotted shoes, would you?" and she responded, "no" even though she and every single girl in the class (except for me and my friends) were wearing the same exact makeup, hair color, hair style, jewelry, shirts, shorts, flip flops, handbag, and backpack. It took everything I had not to laugh.

- People who hate others because their goal in life isn't to meet Edward Cullen.

- When someone cancels on you last minute for a stupid/nonexistant reason and expects you to do the rescheduling

- the Ouran High dub

- the D. Gray Man dub

- bugs

- a billion other things

-Lying and backstabbing friends

@Hagaren_4ever - no, at least last time I got my blood sugar checked I wasn't ^^''' I'm actually a nursing student and so I have to do that whenever I'm preparing medicine for injections...but I have given insulin before, and the insulin syringes are tough to work with because they're so tiny...do you take insulin? If so you probably know about it way more than me haha.

But yeah, major pet peeve of mine...the patients are waiting and everyone's waiting for you and there's just one bubble and it won't go away asdfaldjshf

Yes. I would make an excellent nurse when it comes to injections. I don't know how to do tests or anything else nurses do, but set me up with an old diabetic, and I'll give it a shot! (Hee hee... get it? "Shot"? I'm hilarious, by the way. Nice to meet you! tongue.gif)

My pet peeve is when draws and cabinets are left open in my house. I also don't like two face people. Such as when one person is nice to someone, but then talks about that same person behind their back.

lol D Gray Man dub is EPIC FAIL XD gawd it was so bad

another thing that annoys me is when books get renamed in other countrys for no apparent reason dry.gif who the hell came up with the idea of renaming harry potter and the PHILOSPHERS stone, harry potter and the sorcerers stone, what the hell was the point since it was all about a philosphers stone and stuff, and why rename northen lights the golden compass? whhhhy???? things like that are an insult to the writer as far as im concerned. Translating the title fine but taking an english title to another english speaking country and renaming it pisses me off. Also censoring. Particually for religious purposes. I'm very reiligoius but i don't care at all for stuff that goes against religion, I have my own mind enough to decide what I do and do not belive, just because I happen to read in a book 'God isn't real' or something, doesn't mean I'll belive it, i think all points of view are intersting and there is such a thing as 'fiction' I don't get the point for example like changing the shape of Greed's death rock thing, yeah it was originaly in the shape of a cross big deal tsk

My pet peeves are probably the same as everyone else's.

-Hair in the bathroom sink.
-People who chew with their mouths open.
-People who talk with their mouths full of food.
-Leaving the light on in an unoccupied room.
Um...I'm sure that's it.
