I'm too embarrassed to post a pic of it. XD;;; (at leats without a crinolenne on or a decent vest) Maybe I will. But my hair will probably be short when I do. I'd rather have hair that's not the correct length then the fried crap I have now....*currently insecure about hair*
Fabric was really nice actually. Very good quality I found. Nice and heavy. :3 The stitching is also nice hence why I'd rather make my vest from stratch than touch the one they made so nicely (but incorrectly to Desu's design T_T Too bad really).

Liz, I am saddened by your statement that you didn't have any fun at Otakon! And after all the times I came to visit you?
Regardless... I really don't visit these forums nearly often enough. (Hoping I did this right with the attachments...)
Here's some Otakon photos. Many many more in my cosplay.com page (linked to in my sig), including the Roy/Ed one.
*edit: Oh yeah, lots of people asked me to put up all the pages of my notebook someplace online, so I stuck them all on deviantart. http://kiarrens.deviantart.com/ I've got most of the transmutation circles from the anime and manga in there, as well as notes and research (and doodles by my Winry, machine freak that she is). Been working on it for 4 years and it's still a work in progress (I'm adding in things from the manga as it progresses,) so as I add to it I'll be updating the deviantart accordingly.
Thanks for the head tutorial, Anne. Seems like a simple yet effective way to get a mascot head constructed. (Not to mention lightweight...)
And Toby, I think that either way you go, you'll be able to do an Envy wig justice as long as it is styled well. I have seen kickass Envy wigs in both black (manga version) and dk. green (anime version.)

I just joined here and saw a cosplay thread and went YAY! I just got back from Sakuracon a few weeks ago and I'm still riding the high. >.>
So I figured I'd post a few pics to add to the greatness that is FMA cosplay! Since there hadn't been any posted for a while.
I'm just going to link them since they're freaking huge. @_@
I finally learned how to wear that shoulder holster correctly. Woo! Er yeah, I'm the Hawkeye. I'm wearing the sleeves down on that turtle neck because I was in Seattle and it was FREEZING. I don't wear the jacket with my outfit because it looks like crap. I'm remaking it one of these days. Well remaking the entire costume actually. http://i222.photobucket.com/albums/dd167/c...08/P1010136.jpg
On the subject of contacts that someone posted my sister and I both wear colored contacts for cosplay that we get through our eye doctor or with a prescription from a reputable vendor online. It adds a bit more detail to the cosplay. I look really weird as Hawkeye without my brown contacts because my eyes are very pale. The brown contacts just make it all fit together better and helps get in character for some reason.

My God you are incredible Armstrong cosplayer; I have seen photographs of your Armstrong cosplay online. You definitely have the physical physique, and your mustache is "made of win." I freaking love the photograph of you posing with the Chatherine Elle Armstrong-you guys look incredible. I have seen so many incredible cosplay photographs in this thread. I would never post my first cosplay photographs, because they could never compare to many of the cosplayers here. I just wanted to say great job! Cosplayers would look like their character make me thoroughly happy.
