Nah . . Please , no such scenes in my beloved fma . It just wouldn't make any kind of sense . .

Thats why , a movie on the ishbal massacre . . Would just be awesome . . It should be like , someone (for example riza is narrating it to a kid who wants to know about the hero of ishbal ) in the far future . . . That would make sense as well . . Won't it . .

Or , what if we get a conclusion to CoS . . . Ha ha

i hope we get a full length movie with new stuff here (or ishbal)...we have reasons to be hopeful , bcoz bones has no history of creating MOVIE RECAPS.....(reflections was an oVA)

Well they also don't have a history of making good movies from previous anime franchises either.

Uh, hello... Cowboy Bebop: Knockin on Heaven's Door was one of the greatest anime movies ever. tongue.gif

Oooh, new idea! Cowboy Bebop/FMA crossover. I... don't see how that would work, but the two great Eds in one movie would be awesome.

Cowboy Alchemist: Conqueror of Heaven's Door. Oh crap, that title actually fits FMA!

(I would laugh so hard if it ends up a sequel to CoS... and still watch.)

Okay I did forget about that one (personally it's not my favorite movie ever but it is a good stand alone story for the series).

But the thing is a stand alone story works for Cowboy Bebop (that is what the series basically was a bunch of side stories that eventually became an overarching story in the end).

I don't think the same thing will work for FMA and I just really can't think of what would work for FMA. Maybe I will be pleasantly surprised but I don't have a lot of hope for the movie. It just seems like an attempt to get more money from the franchise (I would much rather have heard of a new manga art book announcement instead).

As nice as a movie on Ishval would be, I just don't see it happening. In DBZ terms, it would be like doing a movie on Bardock or Trunks after the ending of the Buu saga.

I know you're kidding, but if you consider the similarities between the two films--allusions to paradise in the title, a main character uncertain of whether he's truly alive, the realization that life can become 'more real' when accepting the lives of everyday people in society, etc.--the potential is there for a decent fan-fic. Besides, Spike and Alphonse look great together.

I kinda consider it good news, but I'll wait till the new cast will be announced. May be worse.

--------------------
Due to the cancellation of the end of FMA, Kasumisty must think of new signature.

It may take a while.

Yeah, it's sort of got me worried that they've set a bunch of newbies on to it. xD "Here you go, practice on this FMA movie we just announced!" 8D

But it could be a good group. xD Hopefully.

Might Mizushima return? Eh, but I doubt it. And I know some FMA fans who would be livid.

Personally, though, I like Mizushima. Okay, Gundam 00 wasn't great, but I still have faith in him as a director.

^yeah . . Mizushima is head and shoulders above irie for me . .
And we should not forget , fma brotherhood has lots of newbies working on it too . . . None of bones's hardcore animators worked on brotherhood . . But the end result was beyond satisfactory for me . . . So i'm hopeful smile.gif smile.gif

Yeah, same for me, I think the overall directing of the first series was way better than that of Brotherhood. The original FMA is the only thing I've seen from Mizushima, though, and none of his other works.

I liked Conqueror of Shamballa... really. sad.gif

...so did I. I feel like we're such a minority.

methinks so. .__. i love Conqueror of Shamballa too.. sleep.gif but I do hope for way way better movie and villain for this one.. biggrin.gif
hmm.. cramming up the series? pointless.. but the OVA "Reflections" was a good one, but it's clearly not a Movie.

ROY. FOR GODSAKE, SHAVE. YES, YOU READ THAT? S H A V E
and I wish for more Royai too =A=
and no live movie. it's going to be SUCKS -__- that's just a thruth. biggrin.gif
and no more Nazis thingie, it somehow fits the FMA1 but no for this one =A=''

@Chiyo : that baby make scene would be AWESOME. OWO
@Broken Chouchou : JHIKUWGZG I'M AGGREE. I'M AGGREE!!! THAT SCENE! PLEASSEE tongue.gif

Goodbye, Fullmetal Alchemist. Thanks for the memories.

-the manga, characters, story lines, the ending, the Brotherhood series, the first anime and the movie and all things related to it, are the only things that I will always love like how I love my own life.-
