I just noticed that each character page has English spelling of the character name as well. I see Ranfan is spelled Ranfun...

Anyway, that means... we can have cannon spellings of all the minor characters' names!!!! Yay!!!

Not everyone in the book has an English spelling of their name, just most of them do. For example, Yoki doesn't have his name spelled out in English, but Who (aka Fuu) does.

Actually, those names were in Perfect Guidebook 2 as well (which I bought). I mentioned them in the forum a long while ago but no one seemed to believe me. =P If you look at posts from over a year ago you may find them... xD

And thank you for the reuploads Kale! I'll grab them once I come back from the convention =D *goes to bed*

I am going to have to condition myself to spell the Xing characters' names like Lin, May, & RanFun it's going to be hard after so long spelling them like Ling, Mei, and Ranfan.

And is Fuu really spelled Who?

@AA battery - No, no, I do remember your saying that and I did believe you then that those were in the Perfect Guide, but since that publisher also had a history of making some bad translation mistakes on other FMA stuff (coughMustangas"Fire Alchemist"cough) I've been rather lax with my character name spellings. (Bad of me >.<) But yeah, I should start getting used to Mr. Who (it keeps reminding me of "Dr. Who," the sci-fi series XD) and Solf J Kimblee..

@Kale Mustang, or anyone with the Character Book - When you get around to it (please take your time with this one ^^) if you could make a list of character names (ALL the ones who has the English spelling included on the page) that would be very VERY much appreciated by me. happy.gif

Sure. Like I said, most of the major characters (though there are a few minor characters) have their names spelled out in English but a majority don't.

But I can probably get the list together pretty quickly once I get home from work.

Same here. I feel weird just looking at them right now, as ridiculous as that sounds.

@Kale Mustang - Huge "thank you" in advance!!!! happy.gif

And, I will try to get some of the scanned pages translated after I do some of the FMA:B "news" translations. ^^
