: *slaps you*
Riza shot Roy because Roy was trying to stop Riza from what she was going to do. During that part before meeting Roy, you can actually walk around the city and bump into a lot of people (Al, Elena, Armstrong...etc) who are all really happy about the peace bonding, and you break into a great dilemma. For the sake of the country, you shouldn't kill the prince... everyone wanted peace. Yet for the sake of the people you want to protect (Ed, Al, Roy and co. ), you have to kill the prince. Riza was in a great emotional dillema when she got caught by Roy, so what could she do? Do you expect her to be the usual cool Riza in the situation like this? But uh, crappy plot, OOC characters. @Hey:
If you get this game on playasia, it's about $70 USD with snail mail shipping. It's not that bad and I was going to get it but... not anymore. Two-part game makes it $140 USD. I'm not going to get it. I'll just stick w/ my corrupted not-savable game... maybe someone will upload a non-corrupted version later? xD;
What sucks is that this game doesn't save your "high scores" for the mini-games. I like beating my own high scores, but not if the game doesn't save it for me. =\ Hence no replay value (other than digging for dialogues for hidden CG's)
And here I'll copy and paste from my LJ what I said about the assassination...By the way, if you were wondering why King Bradley wanted Riza to kill the prince, it's because he wants to ruin the peace bonding ceremony. For all you manga readers out there, you should know that in order for Father's plan to be activated, "blood seals" are required at different parts around the country. One way to plant a "blood seal" would be to start a war, and have a lot of people killed. That's why Bradley wanted to kill the prince... so that a war will engage. It does fit into the manga storyline.
So yeah they were already in war, but it'd make Amestris look bad if they don't agree to have the peace bonding ceremony... hence they have to somehow assassinate the Prince (and make it look like not Amestris's fault), and resume the war.
I don't know which would be funnier... "Prince Point" or "Peace Point"? XDDD@Zii
: I'm just lucky that the game came out in August. If it came out in July I would have bought it already... my next degree officially starts TOMORROW, so I decided not to buy the game and dl it since it's faster
... I would have turned crazy if I spent $70 USD on such a short and action-less game. This game isn't even an "adventure" game... I would call the 3 PS2 FMA game series "adventure" game, but this Wii game... It's just a puzzle game. (I'm not dissing puzzle games of course, there are good puzzle games I love, such as Bomberman and Bubble Puzzle... just not this FMA Wii game.)@Michiyo
: You're welcome. Hopefully someone will put those up, cuz I really can't. Literally and technically can't. I want to see that part too.@DistantBlue
: Please post here if you found them!@Hagaren_4eve
: Gotta wait for someone who managed to cleared the whole game (or recorded the whole thing while playing). In order to re-access those cut-scenes, you'd need to go to the Gallery in chapter 1 of the game, after clearing the game once.@Kasumisty
: Hopefully someone who bought it can scan it.@Twilight
: It's not a weird ending... JUST AN EXTREMELY ANNOYING CLIFFHANGER. grr.@Monday
: I know... I was really disappointed as well. The last 3 PS2 games were at least, you know, "complete", right? They at least have a good ending to wrap up the story they started...@hand-made-city:
Well, it's a trap. They're trying to milk as much money from the fans as possible.@Alzea
: To be honest, I thought the plot in this game is complete crap. They tried to sell the game to us manga fans by saying that "it's a side story connected to manga, from the point in Volume 16 before Ed and Al leave for Briggs"... The game is ALL OVER THE PLACE and filled with nothing but fanservice. Sure, you got Greedling, you got Scar, you got the soldiers from Briggs... but they are only there for decorations. The PS2 FMA games may not relate to anime and manga at all, but hey, at least it is a complete story on its own, and it's not filled with fanservice crap (okay, there is fanservice on those games too, but not OVERLOADED with it). Those games have a decent standalone story (just like the FMA novels). From chapter 1 - 6 in this game, it's all fooling around, just for fun and stuff, yet in chapter 7, they jumped right into a climax. It's like... wtf. Story development please?

Cutscenes? Anyone? Anyone know where I can find the cutscenes? *echo echo echo*
Stop asking again and again. You already asked a few hours ago. It's getting annoying. If you are really that desperate, go buy a Wii and figure a way to make it play Japanese games
, learn some japanese, and then play the game.

The nico videos are pretty slow and haven't updated a video snice the Winry quest for automail parts. Plus the narrative from the guy who uploaded the video is annoying to me.
Be nice, and take what you can get. Stop complaining. Not everyone is an otaku who sticks by the Wii and computer 24/7. And the pool and dance party... is really not interesting. The best part are already in the preview commercial videos you can see online. Remember Armstrong's sister and she was in the pool for like 3 seconds on those commercials? That's exactly how long she appeared in-game as well. Winry in bikini? Same. Fireworks? It only lasts for like a minute, and really no point in watch the video if you don't know what they are saying.
