QUOTE (Kasumisty @ Apr 3 2009, 11:33 AM) *
http://www.hagaren.jp/news/index.html Something new, as far as I know (from english names xd) where the Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood will be airing. Wait... they say youtube o.o

Okay, I ran what the top paragraph of it said through Google translator, so it might seem a little weird sounding in places. ^^;
But hopefully someone will translate it better later.

" Hot demand by fans around the world and want to watch first,
Including North America, France, Australia, and finally delivered the same week that broadcast in countries in Asia!
In the United States FUNimation.com at noon Sunday, April 9, from 12:00 to start the delivery,
In France, YouTube, Madman.com in Australia is preparing to deliver.

Note) In order to restrict local access to each site is not from Japan.

In Southeast Asia, including Singapore, April 10 to 20:30, in Taiwan on April 11 broadcast starts at 22:30 from ANIMAX!
And in Hong Kong from April 22 23:30 TVB groundダデ¼ started broadcasting in the mail! (Local time is all time) "

By the sounds of it, it seems like quite a few countries are going to get a taste of this new anime when it comes out...so the new Fullmetal Alchemist anime is literally an 'almost' global affair!

Also...despite what I've said about my doubts concerning the second anime, I still can't stop myself from getting excited as April 5th draws nearer. XD;

Thank you, Kasumisty and Becca-chan!! happy.gif In addition to the good news we already got for Asian and Australian FMA fans, this is a HUGE news for U.S., Canada, and French FMA fans!!! ohmy.gif (And, yes, it's an official announcement on official FMA-2 JP site!!)

As Becca-chan's translation has pointed out, there will be same-week (or near same week) distributions (either on-line or on-air) of FMA episodes in U.S., France, Australia, and some Asian countries!!

On-line distributions: (Access is limited to within the specified region only)
* North America: On Funimation.com, starting April 9, 2009, 12 noon
(No info on the time zone... assuming Eastern Time?)
* France: On Youtube. Details TBA (to be announced later)
* Australia: On Madman.com. Details TBA

On air distributions:
* Singapore & other South East Asian countries: On Animax, starting April 10, 2009, 10:30 PM (Singapore time)
* Taiwan: On Animax, starting April 11, 2009, 10:30 PM (Taiwan time)
* Hong kong: On TVB Digital, starting April 22, 2009, 11:30 PM (Hong Kong time)

The rest of the entry contains messages from these distribution partners, more or less saying "we're excited to bring this wonderful animation to (enter the country name here) blah blah..." from Funimation CEO for U.S, and other messages from Madman Entertainment for Australia, Animax Asia for Singapore, and TVB Hong Kong for Hong Kong. smile.gif

You're welcome, Tombow! happy.gif

And don't worry Kasumisty, it's the same with the UK as well; there won't be any FMA: Brotherhood for us just yet. ;_;
:: hopes that someone will be nice enough to stream the episodes when they air, for us so that we can see them::

It's pretty amazing just how many fans are going to get to see the new series all at the same time though, I've never experienced anything like that before...so it's all so awe-inducing! O.O

Sorry... sad.gif But, there is a good chance that they may add more countries with either on-line or on-air distributions later on. Or, as Becca-chan said, there might be other ways..
So, let's stay hopeful!! ^^

^^

O.o

Is that real?!

Tell me that's real... tell me that's not just a manga coloring or something fan made. Tell me it's real.

Because Ed's hair doesn't look color-traced.

Forgive me if I'm wrong (I'm only human, you know...), but I think it's fake. T.T

Looks like a manga trace that's been coloured.
People have been doing that a a lot recently. Pretty impressive stuff.

Edo, where did you find this pic?
