There is always a dictionary by my bed. And I actually read it every once in a while.
Go ahead and tell me I'm a geek.
Don't worry about it. I have a fascination of dictionaries as well. I have a habit of carrying a pocket dictionary everywhere even if I know I'm not going to use it (by now it's in a very bad condition) and back home I have a Longman dictionary by my pillow.
The worst part is not only do I read it, but I actually enjoy doing so. (Well, Longman makes the definitions really clear and understandable.)

Ohh! I love pocket dictionaries! I saw this really tiny mini Oxford the other day at the university bookstore, and I wanted it! So expensive though . . . I enjoy reading the dictionary, too. It's nice to know I'm not alone.
I also carry a calculator around. A small one, not a huge graphing calculator. It makes people think I'm a mathematician, when people who really know me knows that I'm far from being one.
