Instruments, eh? I play violin and sing quite a bit as well. ^^ Music is a very good thing. tongue.gif I dabble with the Chinese di zi, or wooden/bamboo flute, a bit- although I'n sure that there are tons of people better than me at it. ^^

What kind of stuff do you sing, Artemis? I'm a singer myself as well, though not professionally trained or anything (don't have time for private lessons . . . ). Singing is great. biggrin.gif

Speaking of recorders, I got my daughter (4 years old) one recently. She loves to play it, but it is hard on the ears after a while. I taught her how to do a simple trill on it. I've never been good at a recorder, which is pretty sad considering it doesn't take much breath control to play simple stuff sad.gif. I just could never do wind instruments.

I play piano, very poorly, but I play. I live in an apartment, so I just bought an electric piano so I could get back into it. It's nice because I don't have to feel guilty that others have to listen to me play (just stick in the headphones smile.gif).

Anyway, I wished I could play when I was in high school, but they didn't have orchestra. I was told that a piano is hard to carry in a marching band sad.gif. Of course in college, I didn't bother playing - no time, so now that I'm older, I can have fun with it again.

Drums are fun. I used to always try to get on a set here and there. I stink, but hey, nothing beats keeping a beat (ha, ha....I know that wasn't funny sad.gif).

I play so many instruments it's not even funny. I play the flute, piccolo, oboe, violin, viola, cello, bass, drums, saxaphone, piano, and trumpet. I think that is all. I'm pretty sure it is. I'll have to go dig through my closet of instruments to see if that's all.
