When I was younger, like most, I played the recorder.
I currently play the flute, alto saxophone, and a little piano. I can also play the slide whistle. And I mean actual songs here people. Not just sliding it in and out like most people! My friends, they are twins, play the trumpet. I can play a few songs on their trumpets. I have also played a little bit of picolo, but I dont own one.
I would love to play guitar, drums, violin, uh well, basically anything. (besides tuba and things like that. I like melody)
I also really enjoy musical theater. I sing pretty well and love to act!

Does drumming on the steering wheel/desk/table/whatever's handy at the moment count?
I used to play the recorder (4th grade), the clarinet (5th grade), and the xylophone (6th-8th grade).
I wanted to play the flute SO badly, but the band teacher said that I couldn't blow the right way. Looking back on it, I realize she was right, but it makes me angry nonetheless. I currently want to play the guitar.
Right now, I can pick my way through a piano or xylophone piece if I have sheet music. I play one-handed piano, though, by which I mean just the melody-- no chords or anything behind it. I stopped taking lessons when I was 5, which might account for that, though. I can also sing, although yelling a lot has reduced my range a little.

I've played the piano for almost 13 years. I don't think I'm very good, but my friends and family tell me I am. Right now, I have an excellent piano teacher and I've learned so much from her. Over time I've gotten better at sight reading which is building my confidence as well.

I've played the flute for..... 11 years now. Used to be in my elementary school and high school bands, as well as a flute choir. Now I'm in college and don't have as much time to play.. but I love playing my instrument! I've got a really nice open-holed flute and I love it!

Bit of piano (took it for a few years, but stopped), played the clarinet (2 years in elementary school), mostly played the alto saxophone (haven't played it in a few years though), can play a marching bass drum, and finally, I can also play the timpani.

Singing and the guitar! A most wonderful combination. Campfire styles! I played piano for a little while back in primary school. Totally wishing I hadn't dropped it. D: It's like a necessity for music now!
