Letīs say that there were two first mangas o_o
FMA of course, and Shaman King.

I started to read both of them, then quit xDU
After a few weeks, I took FMA manga and finished it smile.gif
Once I finished, I did the same thing with Shaman King

Detective Conan when I was in middle school. I loved that series.

What's funny is that I watched the anime first on Adult Swim, and commercials for FMA used to come on. And I thought it looked really scary and weird. I never would have imagined it'd be my favorite series years alter xDDD

Detective Conan for me too. My friend (Dark-Winds *points to the person above this post*) let me borrow some random volume of it so I could observe something specific in it for artistic purposes. Since the volume was sitting around, I ended up reading it, just cause I had never read a manga before. After that, I was hooked and borrowed all of the volumes from my friend before I finally bought it on my own.

When I was in middle school, I read some chapters of various manga here and there. My favorites were Shaman King, Rurouni Kenshin, and really anything in Shonen Jump. Ahh... Shonen Jump... *reminisces* happy.gif

But the first manga that I really got into was Death Note in high school. It was also the first and one of the only series that I actually read in full. I never even got close to finishing any of those other series ^^;

I remember when I was four or five, my mother came home and gave me the first volume of the Sailor Moon manga(it was translated in my language, though) and I was so happy when I read it! I mean when I was a child all I did was read, but only normal books and when I saw the manga jawdrop.gif I kinda died of happiness! laugh.gif I think that it might have been destiny for me to fall in love with manga again, right? biggrin.gif
