You guys are awesome! Thanks for posting "Stray Dog" - I've been looking everywhere for it! (in print, online, you name it!) Once again, you guys rock! I love how the whole "military dog" thing works out - I guess that's why Ed has golden eyes! Haha! Keep it up!

Domo Arigato translators for getting Stray Dog out. *Bows* I've been looking forever to find it somewhere, but I've been otherwise unsucessful. I see quite a few transitions from Stray Dog to FMA. Very cool. I love this story but I didn't think it would be so violent! O_O

Bumpin' for a picky note (and well, this thread deserves not be forgotten on the depths of this forum)...
After quickly flipping through Stray Dog's raw pages I've noticed the actual names for the characters, which are different from Shirokage's scanlation (I'm not criticizing or anything here, I know getting the right names is a very frequent problem when translating from Chinese.)
Will check for the rest but for now the main ones...
Fultac is actually Fondô Kilka is actually Joka
Just literally transcribing from katakana here, mind you.

Actually, I was planning to do a revision of "Stray Dog" somewhere down the line (when I find the time, but that's kinda going to be far away with uni and omake and whatnot...), since AA Battery has so graciously provided the raw scans of "Stray Dog" that I thought to be non-existant. To boot, the scan quality is better too. (But I haven't even got around to reading the raws, letting alone doing a revision of the script...)

I just read "Stray Dog." Arakawa has obviously had her talent for years, because that was incredible for such a short oneshot. Seriously, I would love to see that animated into like, a... two or three episode anime. XD
I can see her art style in it, too. And how some of the characters have FMA traits, like his eyepatch and the black cloth on Kilka's foot like Envy.
Thank you, Ms. Arakawa, for sharing this wonderful, enriching story that has affected so many of us!
