Only two things to ask of people who post,
one: please do not bash or insult peoples choices, some people are saddened(word?) by songs for reasons in their life.
two: please say if it's not in english.

I'd say ( in no order)
My Immortal by Evanesence
This Photograoh Is Proof by Taking Back Sunday for my own personal reasons.
Slowdance On The Inside by Taking Back Sunday
New American Classic by Taking Back Sunday
Seize The Day by Avenged Sevenfold
The Dance by Garth Brooks(sp?)
I think that's it for mine.

2.) Thoughtless ~Evanescence
3.) Facedown ~Red Jumpsuit Apparatis (sp?)
4.) Hurt ~Christina Aguilara (sp?)

you kids are so silly with your pop music. Those songs are all sad, but in a different way.

Primordial - "The Coffin Ships"
Candlemass - "Mourner's Lament"
Iced Earth - "A Question of Heaven"
Porcupine Tree - "Heartattack In A Layby"
Opeth - "To Bid You Farewell"
Swans - "Failure"
The Angels of Light - "Evangeline"
Blackfield - "Cloudy Now"
Samael - "Angels Decay"
Katatonia - "The Future of Speech"
While Heaven Wept - "The Drowning Years"
Iron Maiden - "Wasting Love"
Nevermore - "Passenger"
Rapture - "To Forget"
King Crimson - "Starless"
Testament - "The Legacy"
Bruce Dickinson - "Tears of the Dragon"
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - "Song of Joy" <-- don't let the title fool you, this is one of the saddest songs you will ever hear

A personal sad song: Beatles - Let It Be

Agalloch - "She Painted Fire Across the Skyline"
Queen - Love of My Life (kind of happy and sad)
Queen - Who Wants To Live Forever (one of my favourite sad songs of all time)

lol, but it is my favourite. I always listen to that song if I am sad, among other songs. Any of their songs are depressing, so really you can listen to any of them. I also like A Desolation Song. Though, I am sure that's one of your bottom Agalloch songs as well.

Oh yeah, Face Down is really sad to me too. I love that song. Hurt by Christina Aguilara is sad too, that remind me of a song of the same title,
Hurt by Johnny Cash is really sad too. And the song
Where'd You Go by Fort Minor is really sad too

I think it's called Bratja, and I was gonna put that on my list to. As for songs not in english I would also say Suteki Da Ne by Riki. Also,
Because Of You by Kelly Clarkson
It's Been Awhile by Staind.

I can name one song and it's "Date with time" by a finnish rockband Lapko. Even though all their music is melancholic, this song is so sad I want to cry. It's not all about the lyrics, they're not so sad, but the way their singer sings it and the background cello, it makes me cry.

Why do all the best girls have a loaded gun
Immortal group of killers ready for landing
And why do all the best girls never look behind
Before you cut their long hair and forget to be

Hurt - Christina Aguilera(sp???)
Runaway Love - Ludacris
My Immortal - Evanescence (sp?)
Helena - My Chemical Romance
Bratja - (sorry, I don't know the artist/singer)
Tears to Shed - Danny Elfman wrote it; it was in the movie "Corpse Bride"
Where'd You Go? - Fort Minor (I think that's how it's spelled)
Untitled - Simple Plan
Wake Me Up When September Ends - Green Day
