I swear, I thought the roof of my school was gonna cave in.
Yeah, it was vicious.
Thankfully, it let up a bit in the three minutes between posting and heading out of the house.
The ceiling in some of the classrooms at my old high school also leaked. I think they've repaired it since then (or they should), but those days of shifting the desks around to avoid puddles of water were...kind of interesting, actually. We don't get heavy rain much in Southern California.

Yes, I was in no way being sarcastic or making anything up, nor have I ever. I also struggle with detecting humour, walking and talking at the same time, reading the works of Dr.Zeus and generally any acts one would expect from a guy of my age.
I love you, Popo
Had to deal with some administrative stuff with regards to my major. It's finally official, after two semesters of putting off the "declaring". I just don't like dealing with, you know...administration
The advisor was friendly, though, and didn't even ask why it took so long for me to go in and declare when I've decided long ago to major in English. Good for him.
I think we've found a place for next year's housing situation. Or rather, one my my brother's ex-co-workers has a house she wants to rent out (or her parents do, at least) and they want some tenants whom they can trust to pay the bills and not disappear.
- It's a house!
- It's a single unit!
- It's cheaper than anything we'd find elsewhere! (Probably. Too soon to tell, but compared to what we came across during the housing search last year, this place is pretty cheap.)
- It has a driveway/carport/off-street parking!
- It's close to various forms of public transportation!
- It's a single unit house!
- It's farther from school than our current place.
We haven't actually seen the house yet, so our opinion of it will probably change accordingly, but we're pretty darn excited at this point. =D
