I just realized that I have a couple of birthmarks on my neck that looks like a vampire bite. 0_0

CTs:

--Played badminton at my friend's house today with her and her brother after we played Scrabble. Fun times had by all!

--Blowing bubbles with chewing gum doesn't work very well, does it?

--The day looked like it was going to be nice, but that has apparently gone out the window. Oh, why can't Seattle have a nice, cloudless day when it's forecast?

Gah, It's 4:26 AM, and I can't get any sleep. My rythm is DEFINELY messed up.

(and congrats to who's going to turn 18! so many quotes, I can't find the original post anymore, sorry. XD It surely is a nice thing. I was really counting days for it too, since my parents got me a nice little car so I could drive around just as soon as I finished my driving school. <3 I REALLY had the motivation to get through the test then!)

Anyways, besides being sleepy (and still not sleepy at all.. how.. contradictory.), umm..

-one of my guinea pigs has her tummy messed up. I just realized when I took her out of her cage and then my bathrobe got nice brown splotches all over it.. aww. D: (and eww.) no more green grass for you!
-I've been trying to draw, but nothing good comes out on paper. I hate art blocks. >_>
-my mom has only 3 work days left before her holiday! Can't wait. <3 She promised that we won't sit around home when it starts! That's good, I'm already bored to DEATH.

I'm sorry guys, but this'll be a long one cuz I feel like an idiot now.... >:<

CTs:

Daryl (my bro) and I were walking around the neighborhood, you know, same old same old. Him on the bike, me on foot, while I logically argued with him on how I should be the one on the bike and he on foot. So the next thing we know, there's a random dog. It has a collar, but no tag- save for the one from the Missouri City Vet that says he's been vaccinated for rabies.

The dog was attracted to the clicking sound of Daryl's bike and continued to follow us. Daryl gets off his bike, gets on the phone to call the vet's number (which is listed on the dog's tag) and then the dog goes off and pees on Daryl's bike- his handlebars specifically. I run inside a friend's house, Jillian, whose house was conveniently next door and grabbed some paper towels with the help of her brother Jeff.

While Daryl gets his fill on the paper towels and urine. By then a jogging couple, with their dog, a Shiba Inu (OMG!!!! A SHIBA INU!!! IT LOOKED EXACTLY LIKE BLACK HAYATE!!! I SWEAR!!!!!!), comes up to us and we start conversing about the poor dog. I, again, run to the Granflor household and attempt to get some dog food, but fail. Yeah... But I sneak some pedigree into my pocket I attempt to feed the dog but I fail again. The couple has been asking for some string and I conveniently have some. The dog is leashed and the wife begins to call Animal Control. More fail, seeing as Animal Control closes (really... since when did Animal Control has closed.

We volunteer to take the dog with us so the couple and Daryl and I part. Bringing the dog home was one helluva challenge. It would not follow. It made me insanely mad, but I really was determined not to let that dog stay here, cuz frankly that'd be sad. There was no way I was leaving a dog there, not if I could help it anyways.

It took a while to get about 100 yards and by then, I am convinced the dog is not willing to comply, so I let it go... THe dog was happy by then and ran in the other direction, as if home was there.

On the walk home, I am filled with regret and self-loathing for beinga complete idiot.

Dear, I envy you for having so much stuff at hand so close <3

CTs
:

- A good bath is what I needed after a strange day at work... top management in my organization and top officials in the country are so filthy... this just makes me empathise with Roy and Riza even more.
- An office with 5 women (including me) and all of them feeling sad with the current situation within our Unit and within our Team, plus, a man and a woman in another room, makes 7 sad people... boss can't be that blind I suppose!
- An ice-cream would feel so damn good right now.
- Took a chocolate sundae at McDonald's today... hadn't had one for ages. And a walk in the capital city was fun... my friend needed to calm down after this morning at work.
- Another round of ice-cream would be nice.

Before complaints about "Spamming on 'Penny' thread" pile up again...

REMAINDER, to oldies and new posters alike:

Think of this thread as... a place you put down your thought ONCE A DAY, or maybe twice. Or, think of this thread as... a thread where you post what your day was like, ONCE A DAY or maybe twice.. (Unless, you had some unusual event on your life, then, we understand increased postings because of that.)

And, if you happen to have only one line of thought on that day, and that is some significant thought to you, that's fine since you can't help it, but in general, try to put down more than one line. If you have only one line of thought, maybe you can READ what others are posting, and make some efforts to add some reply comments to them on your post. Sure, it takes time, but others would probably appreciate your comments. smile.gif
