I've been so snappy at everyone all day, to the point that my friends have realised that something's up. I should go sit in a corner and cool my head for a bit..

Thanks alot guys for all your words. They really comfort me. sad.gif Really they do.

Well, my brother called her later when we were home because I realized I forgot the camera dad gave me for grad there, and he wanted her to have it along with a shirt of his to pick up today at her work. Apparently she says she's sorry about everything she's said and feels awful about it. She wouldn't talk to me directly tho, because she didn't think I wanted to talk to her, and honestly, I don't.

It's nice and all that she's sorry, but that really doesn't change anything. She said alot of ..... A WHOLE LOT of hurtful ..... And this wasn't the first time. This was just the worst. She has a crapload of issues she refuses to accept and seek help for and that's costing her. She's unable to trust anyone, not even her own kids, and has a paranoia when it comes to me and my brother. She always says stuff like "Oh I bet you guys tell bad stories about me to your dad" and "You hate me, don't you?" and we assure her we don't and that we love her, but obviously she doesn't believe us. Otherwise she wouldn't have jumped to such conclusions and said the things she did. "Not your daughter anymore" mom? Never want to see me again? For crying out f*!@in' loud.

It doesn't matter how sorry she is. The fact is, SHE SAID IT. The pain and damage's been done. No matter how sorry she is the pain she caused me isn't just gonna up and disappear.

I'm sick of this abuse she puts me through. Bloody sick of it. She's gonna have to learn the consequences of what she says, cause she's never realized them before. There's only one person turning me against you mum, and it's not dad.

So I'm not going to talk to her for a while. I don't care. I'll be better off if I can get away from this .... for a while.

Also something she said; apparently I'm selfish for not wanting to take up a student loan. This just shows how much my mother knows the world. Let's examine some points for a moment
*My mother dropped out in grade 12. She has no idea how student loans work or how pricey they get. She has no idea what it's like to be out of school and then having to pay off these loans when you're trying to get started in the working world with your desired career path.
*Now, I don't know personally what it's like either, but I know people who DO. My scoial studies teacher in grade 11 told us that if we could, AVOID STUDENT LOANS. He told us if we have some other way of paying for education DO it, and only resort to student loans if we absolutely have to. He's still paying off his. My dad's girlfriend also went back to school on a student loan and right now she's paying up to $500 a month to pay it off.
*Mom doesn't seem to realize how hard I may have it getting out of university. As I'm getting a BA in English, there's not much I can do immediately getting out of school. It takes a long time to break into the fields I want to get into. I doubt I'll be able to afford paying off student loans for a long time.
*she's also pissed because I "make the same amount she does". Well, just because my wage is the same doesn't mean I make the same. I only work for TWO MONTHS. TWO MONTHS. Two months that have to pay for my food, toiletries, clothing, phone minutes, and whatever else for a whole YEAR.

My dad told me not to worry about my education, that he would get it all covered. And I'm not going to worry about it. Cost is the last thing on my mind right now.

Anyways...

But man, no matter how tough I have it what with my mom and all, I don't have it as tough as my next door neighbor. Her husband just died in a quad accident on Sunday, and they've only been married since April. sad.gif I feel so horrible for her, they were such a young couple too, only in their 20's, and they seemed so nice. Just thinking about her situation makes me tear up.

I know how it is Fush. I may not have the same problems as you do, but when it comes to mother issues, I understand completely. Like the time she smacked me across the face, if she apologized, it doesn't take away the fact that she did it and made me freaking terrified of her now when she gets emotional and upset.

[Oh, and for the record, she never did apologize. She said she disciplined me by doing so, so she has no regrets.]

This summer has sucked majorly simply because of my mom not having a job. When she's in a good mood, she picks on me. When she's in a bad mood, she makes me feel like dirt. I can't seem to do anything right in her eyes. =/ She also has a problem with me and my computer-anime-game-lifestyle. Mmm, I'm sure she'd much rather have me going around doing drugs, stealing, and sleeping with any male I can get my grubby hands on. Yes, mom, you'd like that a LOT more, wouldn't you?

Ehhh, sorry...don't mean to take the light off you. Once I start ranting I can't stop >> Ugh...

Oh, and I'm sorry about that couple...wow...

It's okay Tris, I know how once ya start ranting about mothers in particular, ya kinda can't stop.

But anyways, ENOUGH ABOUT ALL THIS. FUSHI WANTS TO BE HAPPY AGAIN BECAUSE SHE HATES BEING SAD. 8D

WHOOOOOOOOOO, the schedule for Animethon is up! <: Now I finally see what's showing.

Two big surprises:

1. Lucky Star. WHOA THEY'RE SHOWING LUCKY STAR? I thought it'd be too recent to show! Oh well, I ain't complaining. Although I wish it, Haruhi and Hellsing Ultimate were a little more spread out on the schedules. I just know it'll cause conflict between me and my friend and which we go see. (all three are being shown two nights but...but two of the three are always shown at the same time, and the other one comes right before them. And there are other good things on at those times too. Blehhhhhhhh.)

2. The absence of Rozen Maiden. It's not that I think Rozen is popular enough to be a must have, but.......THEY HAVE SUIGINTOU ON THE PROGRAMMING BANNER. O_o WTF? Isn't that false advertising? Having a character on your programming banner whose anime isn't even gonna be played?

And I had so hoped they would play the Rozen dub so I could yell out "WHERE'S THE DESU" when Suiseiseki shows up.

AHAHAHA, I won't be allowed in the 4chan panel because I don't have ID to prove I'm 18. XD Not that I wanted to actually see what would be there....but I wanted to see what sort of reaction I'd get, considering I'm cosplaying the origin of their most nortorious meme.

Nice that she said sorry Fushi. It's a good idea to keep your distance away from her for a bit so the both of you can cool down a little..

Some dude went to some store and purchased $100 worth of goods just to get a $8 voucher. And he was immensely happy with the voucher. Wow.

Fushi seems to be the most optimistic person I know....

I don't know what to say, except I hope things work out well for you, and that you get through college all right. Good luck with everything, ok?

I FOUND SOME PIE IN THE FRIDGE! happy.gif

---
On a side note here. I just went to the store to pick up some Mountain Dew. Well its on sale in the bottles, and I was thinking, "I need to get me some of that". Well any who, I get there and THEY ARE ALL SOLD OUT(of the bottles). So needless to say I was highly disappointed. And i was stuck buying a 24 pack of the cans.

Sorry about that Fushi. I'm glad she apologized, but I don't think she really deserves to be around you in situations when she gets mad. She should know that she shouldn't of said such a thing like that towards you. It was not right. I hope everything gets better though and good luck with college.

Current thoughts:
-Well its my second oldest brother' b-day today.
-I celebrated with him and my other brothers since my mom and dad had to work. We got to play baseball and sit in the shade for a while, while we watched some planes go over head. And then we went out to a Gino's East.
-I think my brother enjoyed it, cause I did happy.gif.
-I'm going to be working overtime at my job for the next 3 or more days. Even though it feels like I always have overtime.
-So I'll stop by in the middle of that time.

It's not exactly that I'm optimistic, I just don't think she deserves my thoughts right now. I have a very huge weekend coming up with Animethon, and I'm not gonna let her ruin something I've been looking forward to for a year, as well as hinder my performance at work. So, more or less is I'm trying to forget about it right now and not bother getting myself worked up over it. smile.gif

(and thanks again guys)

While on my way to the post office, I noticed some little girls sitting on the sidewalk on some plastic chairs behind a cooler. I stopped, figuring they were selling lemonade, but lo and behold, they provided not consumables, but some stacks of paper and crayons, plus a bowl of folded up drawings. Their little venture was drawing booth, where anyone could come and draw a picture for free if they wanted, or buy a mystery picture. I got one of their pictures for a dollar, and I'm guessing it was their only sale of the day, unless they decided to also make sales at the neighborood picnic.

Holy crap, that was cute. (It seems like one of the little business endeavors I would have made as a youngster, like the museum I set up at our garage sale once, which consisted mostly of live bugs and frogs in jars.)

I also struck good luck, as there was a few-day old copy of TIME magazine on the free-rack in the library lobby. (The one where they generally put all the crappy romance novels that nobody will buy at garage sales and get dropped off.) It's been a while since we stopped getting TIME, and I've missed it. All the articles were interesting too. :]
