I don't like McCain because he's Bush version 2.0 and knows absolutely nothing about the economy, which is what needs focus on. I went to exchange my money to yen for the trip, and the conversion rate from yen to dollars was almost 1-1. The Canadian dollar passed us MONTHS ago, and the pound has always been 1.5 to 2.0 times worth more than the dollar.

I think you're a couple decimal places off, 1 yen is worth about 1 hundreth of a US dollar.

Does anyone have an opinion on Speed Grapher? I was thinking of watching it.

This may be a really late reply, but here goes: it was an okay anime for me. I don't even remember what happens, which means the plot is forgettable. Lots of nudity and blood though, I remember.

Yeah, pretty late. I forgot about it a while ago. Opinion appreciated all the same though.

Thought:
I have pretty much fallen out of anime over the last 6 months.

Where you heading, if I may ask? I myself am going to Gulf Shores tomorrow and will be there a week. Against my will. But meh. My dad's packing me a bunch of junkfood, money, and a new mp3 player [to replace my broken one] out of the deal. Plus our hotel will have wifi and I'll have my lappy.
I try to avoid mentioning it because I look like a Japanophile, but Japan. I've been studying the language for a good time now both independently and in class.

I'm not a Japanophile, I don't even like anime or manga anymore =(

Speaking of Persona 3, maybe one of you can answer...what's the difference between Persona 3 and Persona 3: FES? *too lazy to look herself*

Essentially they're the same game, but FES has a lot of bonus feaures such as costumes, more chances to increase social links, new personas, and a lot of other extra things. It also has a whole new game in it; The Answer, a sequel to Persona 3 starring Aigis.

FES is also a bunch cheaper since it's a remake, it's only $30. It might be pretty damn hard to find in stores though since it's an Atlus game, I'd look online.

^ Amazon. I'll repeat myself once more for anyone interested: 30 bucks, free shipping, and no tax. Linkage

CTs

- French final tomorrow. Last exam of the year!
- All this speak of Persona 3 is making me want to play. I've yet to finish the Answer portion of FES.
- I need a new sig.... Maybe I should go with a The World Ends With You theme. That or another P3 or Soul Eater. Or maybe Okami. Can't decide.

I don't know how to pronounce certain French words properly! sad.gif My friend gave me a sheet and it all very well helps, but some of it still looks funny to me. I'm probably being an idiot for wanting to pick up another language before I'm capable of reading/writing my second/third languages properly.
This is where the net will come in... hopefully.

Speaking of languages, another Chinese essay due! D= 12 hours left and counting!

German's no walk-in-the-park either.

It's supposed to get up to ninety degrees today, that's more like August weather, not June. We need air conditioning here. Thank God I had physical education yesterday.

Eh, I'm agreeing with Washu on the German language; I've been learning it since I was an infant (back then, my dad only ever spoke to me in German).

In October '07, I ordered Tintentod by Cornelia Funke (third book in the Inkheart trilogy) to translate from German to English because I heard the translation wouldn't be out until this October and, well, I couldn't wait.
It's now June.
And I've only gotten to the sixth chapter in the book (which is pretty long).

I've found that my German-English dictionary is out-dated and useless (used to be my dad's, which he bought in '79); I need to remember to buy a new one.

Current thoughts:
-Installed the 'Ubuntu' operating system onto my laptop! Now I'm finally free of the Windows treadmill!
-I have a headache. Seem to be getting them a lot lately...
-Still need to buy hiking shoes for camp next week. Won't even have time to break them in. Oh joy.

I think Gendou is experiencing difficulties...

Aha! I was right! That guy who did the manga Yozakura Quartet illustrated Maid Machinegun! I just knew it >w<.

I'm going with a friend to seeKung-Fu Panda. I think it looks really good =D.

Yesterday I ate dinner at Red Lobster. I got Snow crab =w=. Though, while eating it, all I could think of was Yukari Tanizaki XD. And I kept the claw. I named it, Senior Crab Claw! The Spanish Seafood of Justice!

- Wow, uh, abc's doing a reality TV show called "I Survived a Japanese Game Show".

^I'd suggest asking for name suggestions here Zarpy...but on second thoughts...thats possibly not a good idea.

I like deviantarts new option of finding out when something you reported is sorted. Blasted art thieves...do they not realise an artist comment along the lines of;

"omfg if u say i stold thiz I wil cum round ur house an keeellll uuuuuuuuuzzz!!!!!11"

...kinda gives the game away?
