shanryelric - What are the little chibi figures in the first picture? They're so cute! (I love little Riza's facial expression.) Do they talk, and if so... what do they say? laugh.gif

Mmm, I love that sound. Is there anything that strikes a more beautiful note than the sound of two indomitable wills colliding with each other?

Not sure if it's the right spot for this, but well...
So, I finally decided to order some of FMA's original manga from amazon.co.jp (Of course, I could wait 'till november and fetch them all, but got suddenly impatient). I made the order, gave my credit card number, completed it, and after 10 minutes I received a email in japanese (wtf? I'm an international customer) stating (as I understood) my credit card could not be verified, or was not accepted, idk. Here's the exact message:

Amazon.co.jp

...and it goes on. Following the email instructions, I checked my card's information, and it was all correct. So I changed the card. Same message. Changed it again (this time with a card which has made many international transactions), same thing. I was wondering: has anyone out there been confronted with the same problem? If so, how did you solve it? Does this, by chance, mean amazon can't deliver anything to my city, or even my country (Brazil, btw)? And finally: in case I can't do anything else, are there other reliable online shops where I can buy the original manga?
Thanks in advance.

1) I'm too busy to turn on my computer.
2) I got shy, and didn't come back to the discussion.
3) I hate you, and I'd rather ignore you.
4) Your point got me speechless, congratz!

I've had the same problem crop up recently for me when I tried using my Visa CC, but I simply resolved the matter by using my AMEX card (as much as I didn't want to). As far as ordering, you can always try yesasia.com as well as cdjapan.co. The other option would also be purchasing from eBay - but I don't see the JP manga on there as much as I see the American one.

Oh, so I guess it's a problem with both Visa and MasterCard (only ones I have here). I'll try asking directly to Visa, then, and perhaps borrowing someone else's card. At least I can be somewhat sure it has nothing to do with shipping restrictions.
And looks like cdjapan has them, as well, that's reassuring.
Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the translation, Tombow, it sounds interesting! ^^

The Gangan website has added info about the FMA chess set:
http://gangan.square-enix.co.jp/hagaren/goods/
Looks like it's a special item which you can only order from Square Enix Online Shop, so it won't be available in stores.
There are more pics here.

^ You're welcome! ^^

---

Kasumisty posted scanned pages from this month's YoungGanGan magazine on FMA:B News watch thread that was originally posted on Baidu by hilary.

A new FMA item from GanGan: Ed's suitcase (actually it's a case you can use to put all of FMA volume books, plus 5 more related publications)

Pick of this case on the cover of this month's YoungGanGan

And, more pics of this on one of the scanned pages of GanGan mag

Looks like on the back side there is a monogram of FA. And, it comes originally without those stickers on, but these sticker seals come on the side and you add those to your taste.
I can also see "How to get" section. It says, to get this case, you have to buy YoungGanGan Sept. issue (came out Aug. 12) or Oct. issue (comes out on Sept. 11) plus 1400 Japanese Yen, plus Handling Fee, and then it will be shipped out starting the first part of Jan. 2011.
(For more detailed info on how to order, please see my post below)
