--Seattle weather is so WEIRD! Sun, rain, clouds... what's next, SNOW? Then again, variety is the spice of life, and I'm a Seattle native, so I suppose I can deal with it.

--Well, whatever is supposed to keep gas tanks from overfilling didn't work today. But at least I didn't get any gas on me or my clothes!

--We didn't get any mail today, one of the libraries I drove by was closed... I seriously thought it was a national holiday I wasn't aware of! Then I saw my neighbor get her mail, and that notion was dispelled.

It's because breakfast is the one meal I could eat all day...and pancakes are awesomely versatile. biggrin.gif

Ack, that happened to me once too. I was wearing flip flops and gas spilled onto my foot/pant leg...I mildly freaked out and thought my foot was gonna burn off or something laugh.gif (it didn't).

I approve of that usage biggrin.gif

-My lack of domesticity saddens me. I can give shots and listen to your heart and lungs, but when it comes to household chores like gardening and cleaning I absolutely fail. Except for bed-making. I am rather skilled at bed-making. And I can do hospital corners. Bam.

-I feel so useless now that it's summer and I have little to no need for everything I learn in school. I'm not saying I wish summer would end because next semester is supposedly hellish, but it would be nice to be back in my element.
-Yesterday morning I was bored and had horrible stomach cramps, and so I listened to my bowel sounds for like 10 minutes. I'm not quite sure if I'm gonna write that off as something that was interesting or something that was incredibly pathetic.

All right, since some people do not seem to take any hint, as long as it is aimed at general population... tongue.gif

@Kale Mustang - I took the liberty of merging your posts to show you that it is really NOT necessary to post your "current thought" EVERY TWO HOURS. If you really come upon some new and SIGNIFICANT thoughts just a few hours after your last post, and for some reason you feel utterly compelled to post those, an alternative to posting your "current thought" every two hours is that you can edit your previous post and add those there. (See the last two CT entires on your last post. Those were merged from your second post in less than two hours. ^^) And, as for the rest of your PERSONAL conversation, we have the PM feature that's designed exactly for that, and I hope you can make a good use of it. smile.gif

Thanks Tombow for once again being so polite about this all, but I would just like to add;

Thoughts that AREN'T relevant:

*what you are eating/want to eat (unless its something significant).

*we have a whole thread for what you are reading, discuss such things there please.

*what you are doing around the house.

*what TV program is on, again we have a thread for that too

Look I am tired of moaning at you about this, but please understand when we get 3 pages a day of only a few people posting, nobody else wants to bother commenting. This is not a journal entry, it is not a blog, and it is not a place for your conversations.

-My dog got neutered yesterday and he's pretty sad right about now; it's the meds, I swear
-It ACTUALLY rained today here in Texas. That's almost impossible, seeing as that we've been on a long and brutal journey of a heatwave
-Last night, my brother found my missing drum stick. Yay, I can actually play Rock Band again! Especially seeing since I've been failing at guitar for the past couple of days.

EDIT: OMG! Michael Jackson is DEAD!?!?!

CTs

- Uh, Michael Jackson died?
- Ran 5 miles today. Ahhh. Definitely gratifying.
- Work tomorrow. I could use the extra money anyway.
- I heard that the new Transformers had no plot.... Not sure if I wanna go see it now.
- I should practice my violin a bit more. :/
- Firefox keeps crashing on me. Geezus. How infuriating. I'm sticking with Chrome from now on.

CTs:

--Ed McMahon, Farrah Fawcett, and Michael Jackson all within... 48 hours of each other, was it? Scaaary. (Seconding Popgeejo's and Carnal Malefactor's zombie comments, and listening to "Thriller" as I type this.)

--I am SO jealous that one of my friends got to take a cruise to some of the most awesome places in Europe. (Well, the ones I haven't been to.)

--So maybe the mail carrier didn't miss us yesterday. Or came around twice today. Odd.
